I already have to say yes, because trench run has already beaten the server highest amount of players record on one server (the only server) Since checking the logs show's me that the highest we ever got on the waste kind server we got to 15 players, trench run at one point had 30-35 players on one server, And also the server is EU (Since i don't own servers in other places) so its mostly active around Noon (GMT time)

So yes,Trench run has already lived up to the waste kinds player amounts, It just has problems sustaining it.

Also that title is weird, it makes this thread sound salty.

Trench run and the waste kind both have dry periods in terms of players. While trench run is worse off atm, I feel it could recover with better advertising, some giveaways of the game, etc, and I see plenty of instances where the waste kind server has no players, on average I've seen around 5-6 and at the highest I've seen like 10.

Trench run can recover at some point, games that are not popular at release can gain a following later on in their lifespan. The best thing for them to recover sooner is better advertising and gauging interest of more players, as well as things to create more depth and length of your time spent playing. It can reach the waste kind's player numbers, but it's gonna be hard to crawl out of the hole.

I don't quite think there has to be a problem here. After a couple of weeks the mod won't be as played as these last days. We've done it basically because we love KAG, and we love making modifications and new content as KAG players for it. You can't play it for free as you need KAG, and it's still a rather limited mod in terms of depth. People will eventually get bored of it, we won't be making constant updates, it's just a mod.

It doesn't "compete" at any level with anything, except, if so, with other KAG servers, in case you want to see it that way.
