Read this first! Section Rules

The rules for this subforum will be mostly the same as usually, except for these points:

• You may only post one map per thread.
• Threads that don't follow the template (which you can see here) will be deleted.
• New threads are under moderation; this means that others won't be able to see your thread after it was posted because a moderator will have to approve or disapprove it.
• This section isn't about voting on maps. Posts that only up- or downvote posts in whatever fashion will be deleted.
• Criticism is good and desired, however you should keep it civil.
• Also please keep map names kinda compact, no reason for 500 letter long map names.
• (obvious) signatures on maps are not allowed. Your recognition is having your map and your username as filename in the game.

Special rules regarding the naming of a map: (These rules may be modified or expanded at any given time. It is your own duty to keep up with them.)

• Mapnames should contain alphanumeric characters (a-z) and numbers (0-9) only - special characters are not allowed.
  
• As the word already suggests, mapnames should be names and names only.
  
• The name shouldn't contain more than roughly about 20 characters (This doesn't include your username, nor underscores/spaces).
• Spaces should be replaced with underscores "_", or be left out completely.
• Mapnames shouldn't revolve around any controversial topics, nor should they include any offensive words. (This includes everything from racial slurs to political opinions.)
  
• Exceptions in special cases can always be made, please contact (@Ni) or any other mapping moderator beforehand.

Selection process explanation: the moderators of this section accept and reject maps, or discuss changes with the author to get them accepted after they have been modified. The developers (specifically Geti) will be sent maps in bulk every now and then, to review them once more. They are generally not involved with the selection process before that.
