Namely admin's changing a map without even putting a vote through.

What is your opinion on this? Bugging me because an admin was doing it to the new maps recently.

If it's because someone clearly has the flag and isn't capping it, sure. It's not ok if they're doing it for no apparent reason.
In your case they should've put a vote since some people might've wanted to play on those maps. Even if there are a lot of people nagging the admin to switch maps, there should always be a vote to determine it.
Also if it's only one admin who does this regularly you might want to specifically report them since others may not do this. Otherwise don't report them if it was a one time thing.

I mean, shouldnt the admin deal with the player trolling with the flag then? That just makes the most sense for me, deal with the person causing the problem to solve the problem.

Why did the admin do it exactly. I can kinda get it for some maps(for instance i wouldnt mind AntQueen being nextmapped if someone floods it because it wasnt my intention when making the map for that to happen(though still not that valid of a reason to skip without a vote)).

Yes they could deal with the person causing the problem but in the end the map will be reset sooner or later. There will always be people who don't cap the flag so dealing with them won't end the issue. And now with the extended reset delay it'll be better if the admin just next map.
The admin may as well skip the map if the flag is safe, easily cap-able, and if someone is just trolling with the flag and purposefully not capping it.

It will deal with the specific problem(instead of just skipping the map and stopping the other 9 people on the troll's team from capping).

It will not be better if the admins just nextmap, it would be better if the admins dealt with the player refusing to cap(and at that moment making it known to the person that that action is wrong).

Dealing with every single person not capping the flag will not solve the problem of the people not capping the flag. That makes no sense, if you mean that the problem is too large to fix id say sure;however, stopping individual offenders would still be beneficial.

In general, id say that admins shouldnt be skipping maps at all and should actually try to solve the problems(in this situation the person refusing to cap the flag is the one and only problem). That troll not capping the flag is annoying both his teammates AND the enemy, so refusing to allow the flag to be capped wont help either group(who in this situation just want the flag to be capped). Also forcing an immediate nextmap would lead to some rq's and unbalanced teams(exactly why we have such a long time after the flag capture).

I am the admin that changed the maps twice as I saw in the chat that someone is complaining about the map. Ive done it twice to make sure no one complains anymore. I apologise for my actions for those who did not like it.

Might i ask what map, since it would be more beneficial to discuss what is wrong with the map than get salty about admins who attempted to good while doing wrong.

I remember it was a map with water, and I think some gaps. From what I observed, flat surfaces seems to be favorable in generality. But I won't justify myself. I take responsibility for my actions.

When that happens I suggest the player to cast a vote, if it passes, ok, if it doesn't, let the result be it. When that happens in 2 maps in a row, I usually cancel the 3rd map vote.
Also, if the match is very laggy, after explaining the players that a map skip should make the server more stable, I've skipped twice or so.

flooded version of this map? If so, i didnt intend for it to be floodable and i can atleast see why the map should be skipped(map ruined vote), obviously it shouldnt be skipped by an admin but by a vote, however i could see why it happened.
