dropping blocks to refill durability

    here, 1 back wall (2 material) was used to recover 6 durability per block x 10 blocks.
    could've put another stone block above back wall before mining it out diagonally, or stack more stone to drop, but big collapse generate lots of temporary physics objects that could hurt teammates... not worth risk of getting marked as griefer

    story goes that I was wondering how many falls it'd take to break stone blocks, so I built a wooden tower with stone on top, then mined the wood from top to bottom. Stones hit ground level, at that point I thought it'd be a pain to dig deeper, and made a map to drop stone over and over again rockfall.png
    it took me way too many drops to realize the stone wasn't getting damaged

    also in the video, no wood got broken by stone and flaming wood falling on top. That just goes to show how resistant blocks are to fall impacts in general (includes falling as well as being fallen onto)
