[228] What is wrong with this base?

I was playing again and just got mad about this builder who would make the most redundant base I have ever seen. I thought I would like to share it, we did this last build but it got forgotten quickly.

So I am asking you: What is wrong with this base?

I can't even really call that a base.

 

I like how he blocked the way to the underlying raw rock ressources with stones :D (you can't see it, its on the left right next to the spawn). I even told him not to do that for that reason and he just said "GO AVYO" which probably meant go away in his native language: badatbuildish

 

Its obvious! Its not a base! Its abstract art! He is expressing the very essence of his tormented soul in the form of redundant arquitecture!

 

I'll tell you one thing. Ladders. Way too many fucking ladders. They should only be used for offense or a makeshift archer bunker.

 

It's facing the wrong way.

 

Not much of a 'face' to it, y'know?

 

The most heavily defended part is on the wrong side.

 

Alot of bases have a backdoor trapdoor thing if that's what you're referring to. There's no real reason not to put it. The flaw is, that's the only defense they have. :S It's weird.

 

Number two is just a shack. Not really protecting anything since you can just grab the flag from the top.

I'm more interested in the catapult fail. How many tries does it take for a newbie to make a catapult Mr. Owl?

 

Yeah for the second one the main point is the weird faily catapult he tried to build into the flag. He tried like 3 times :)

Neat, what do you mean it faces the wrong way? the pit and stuff is on the right, thats where the reds are comming from? Not quite sure what you mean here.
