In all seriousness, read the stickies. And like Eric said, this isn't TF2. Plus, they just released the Santa Hat!

Rather than the players having to pay for new hats, have the artist pay to upload a custom hat to the ever expanding library.
$0.50 per submission would cut down on the spam, and make so that people only submitted the "best" of their collection to the community collective :D

then update everyone with hats with bi-weekly updates 8)

Why stop at hats? maybe a custom skin shop, for the player sprite too :D

 

I like the idea of user-made hats. I think they should have to be accepted first, though. Kind of like the Steam workshop.
When they are added they cost any amount of money under 80 cents, or whatever form of small change your country uses and can be used for microtransactions.

 

As well as it should. Hats offer a degree of customization, and more will probably be added, (santa hat), but this is a game, and i prefer impactful content, such as zombies;)

 

Er speaking of hats, doesn't this post need some attention? I'm a massive south park fan so I'm not really offended by that kinda thing, but if someone's posting something like that seriously it's a bit out of order (and against the forum rules either way).

Use the report button next time; we're not omnipotent, and it's likely that anybody who could have done something about it didn't see a problem.

I am still waiting for a head with huge eyebrows, but my patience is anything but legendary. I may have to start a boycott or something.

 

I don't rightly see what's wrong with using an image in your post as long as you have words in it.
If it's a big problem for size or whatever just use a spoiler tag.

I think this thread should be for pitching hat ideas. Here's some:
Mullet+team colored bandana, base head is archer
A fancy-ass bowler. Stylish.
Indiana Jones-esque fedora. Deviously intimidating.
Robber ski mask. Illegal contraband not included.
A trilby. Used by robbers and arrow-lobbers alike.
Viking helmet? Viking helmet.
Elf hat, to fit in with the Santa hat
Golfer's flat cap?
Lastly, perhaps a golden crown for admins?


There. That seems like a reasonable list.
