    Archers are OP now. Their arrows go through shields, and now the decimate their main counter before the knight can get to them. Seriously.

    A bit of an guide to archer stealth, for those who are OCD and sneaky at heart
    So, the Archer's ability to hide is something which I don't think is used nearly enough.

    The new quarters have a foreground sprite, which provides flawless cover for prone Archers.

    If you really want to strive to be stealthy, head choice can make a difference.
    Notice how I am trying to hide in this grass, but my choice of headwear makes me stand out?

    I believe that this female head is the most inconspicuous.

    Actually no. If you'll see my screenshot of the head selection menu, there are duplicates of the head that I have selected. The one in the top right is accessible by non-premium players.

    Haha camoflage anyway the non-premium head is actually best for camoflage , others are just fancy , anyway be female , it gives you a better archer head for camoflage if you are non-memb anyway it works!!!

    Hmm, interesting, will have to go female archer sometime to try this out. When head 22 was around it was so OP for archers hiding ┬─┬ノ( º _ ºノ)

    Using hats to create camouflage is the way of cowards! Real men --who use the female sprite because the male is ugly--go for style, like a straw hat. I eagerly await the day I can have a nice bright orange hat, to strike fear into the hearts of my enemies!

    I feel like everyone is going about this wrongly. Archer is definitely not OP. Sure a fully charged arrow shot and break a knights guard for a second allowing another fighter on your side a quick stike, but that's 2v1, Obviously not a fair setup to base your opinions on archers overpowerness. If it was 2 knights vs a knight and an archer you wouldn't be complaining about the archer. With the knights shield to block from any direction without delay is literally impossible to land an arrow 1v1. The only way your going to get the kill on the knight is if either the knight is pre-occupied with another person, trying to break a door or his sheer stupidity to not use his sheild. As for the feign death thing the archer has, it barley hides you from anything, any archer would be able to pick you out in an instant, even after you've reacted to yourself being spotted, the other archer has the upper hand of seeing you first (assuming hes not bad at archery) . I think the archer is completely fair and the knight is overpowered if anything. Block most arrows, team shield jump, bombs (and bomb jumps) AND float/crush mid-air abilities? Regardless, The only times your not getting kills on new people to the game or blind players is when your firing into a heated battle. Anyways what im saying is that an archer is really only as good as the people defending him. Yes i'm sure some of you awesome pro's will argue saying that you get "mad kills" but im sure its really just dumb luck that the other player is displaying any of the previous symptoms of noob combined with your skills. And i'm not saying that as just some know it all. I'm pretty half decent myself at archer. So I think people should stop complaining about the archer >.<

    There's my two cents. Hope people found something interesting

    p.s. Im not forgetting archers arrow wall climb, i just consider it a minor convenience.

    Archers can't really do anything by themselves, so I never see why people regard an archer assault by climbing walls over trees or arrow climbing as a threat. It can get you out of pits and tight situations when you don't have any way to get somewhere safe, but for the most part using it offesively doesn't have much use, unless there's a few of you that can climb somewhere that knights aren't gonna get to your not gonna be effective - most of the time if an archer starts climbing most builders will run if they have any sense, and they're the only potnetial targets you really have. On occasion it can be very useful though, for example to get yourself into cover on top on an enemy structure when your team has just raided an enemy structure and there's no way to high ground, quite rare though.

    Skyler, not to be rude or anything, but you do not understand.

    As an archer, I put up a fair fight against knights. As a knight I'm crap. Sure, one time I helped out a friendly knight, but all he did was distract the enemy knights so I could murder them. (It was 5v2).

    If you fire a fully charged arrow at a knight when you're close enough, you can fire another spam arrow before he can get his shield back up from the stun, keep in mind lag can sometimes effect this, try it on a few different people and you will see what I mean. Also depending if you're uphill of him, you either do .5 hearts of damage or 1 heart.

    AnRK, I use arrow climbing every game of KAG I play. I climb over the top of the enemies forward tower, then sit on top of it and rain death to enemies below, prioritizing: Close knight, Archer, Builder, Knight. If the knights can climb up to get me, I just watch them carfully, and when they think I'm not looking and begin to climb, I spam 2 arrows, (boom 2 hearts gone). Then they sit there with their shield up thinking that will save them, when I fully charged and arrow then discharge another, (dead).

    I get cornered a lot, and my k/d ratio as an archer is like 3/1, but I don't sit behind towers all game like most archers do.
