KAG Group on Evolve

It just hit open beta and is getting better and better all the time. They are even working on integrating steam chat into it.

Everyone feel free to post your usernames in here so others can add you if they want. Mine is Noburu of course.

Hey guys! I'm one of the devs / founders of Evolve. Glad to hear you guys are liking it so far. Sorry that KAG isn't working with the overlay currently. We'll investigate in a bit and get back to you about why that is.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions or let us know if you're having problems! We're still small enough that we actively try talk about Evolve with as many of our users as possible.

For some reason, I think you are phony. Could you please show me credentials/ some kind of record that this is true? It's not like it matters tat much, but better safe than sorry.

Ok, just making sure. I didn't want a random coming in here, taking credit of a very well made program.

I'll confess it's a bit odd that I just registered and dropped in, but we usually try to whenever we see a site generating a fair bit of traffic in the referral logs.

So we took a look at the overlay in KAG. It is unfortunately still broken (which is why it's disabled). The UI appears to be a rather bland gray box instead of the normal windows when interacting on the overlay in game. The game is OpenGL, though, so our tech ought to support it just fine once we figure out what's going wrong. We're looking in to some issues with Minecraft and a few other OpenGL games in the near future, so hopefully the overlay is something we'll be able to enable before too long.

I never signed up for Raptr but from what I read about it this is much better.

 

So I understand that the overlay doesn't work with KAG yet, but when I check "Game Overlay" in preferences, it processes for a little bit and then says "Status: An error occurred while installing the feature."

Is that supposed to happen? xP

 

Sounds like something is messing up. Would you be willing to open a new discussion here? http://support.evolvehq.com/ -- Our lead client developer will probably ask you for some logs and try sort out what's happening so we can get it fixed. Sorry about this!
