Well it's not like the suit was the guy actually designing the website. The suits are notoriously incompetent technically for the most part, the website was designed by someone else entirely.

The fact that even his own website is illegal, like other hard facts, isn't an issue he's likely to reflect upon.

 

But if we put it into his context, he'll be the one going to jail for it.

 

Only if the owner of the image goes to court. And even then we're talking about a fine, not jail time. I'd rather not live in a world where I can become bubba's new cellmate just for using some picture as my site background.

 

I'm sure it was "Copyrighted material can result in you becoming a felon and spending time in a federal prison."

I'm amazed people are still shocked by this kind of stuff.

 

I finally figured it out... this SOPA bullshit will go on untill december 21 and against all logic somehow pass... the internet will spontaneously collapse and thus sending humanity into a downard spiral of chaos... the end of the world as we know it.

America is full of corrupt politicians. It's nothing new. The focus should not be on the creator's hypocrisy but on the dangers of SOPA and PIPA. Figuring out a politician is a hypocrite won't change anything.
