[CTF] Castle Above the Waves

    ~Changelog~
    v.4
    - Added spheres of stone with 1 gold in them (for aesthetics), hanged on ladders for you to drop on the other team :D

    v.3
    - Cut down on amount of trees
    - Put thick rock in partially dug tunnels under the waves to slow tunnelers down

    v.2
    - Thicker chains supporting castle, attached chains to back dirtwalls in the waves, instead of the dirt on the waves, hopefully that will get rid of the collapsing problem.
    - Added more trees
    - Added more space to spawn point for shops, etc.
    - Removed bedrock spine on the giant wave, so people can tunnel inside it, however, I still kept the bedrock below the base, to prevent base to base tunnels.
    - Made broken team bridges to the castle, to give players an easier time.
    - Added partial tunnels to small wave and smaller wave :p
    - Btw, I unchanged the castle because I think that that's the only clear building spot in the entire map, so kept it empty.
    - Forgot to add Rayne's suggestion of replacing backwalls in castle to dirtbackwalls, castle should be indestructible now hopefully

    So I made a quick map (quickest I've ever made I think) and I can't believe that it came out so well o.o
    Anyways, this is 250x150, and I'll keep this short cause I'm tired and I have to sleep ^^

  6. After testing the map on Noburu's server: ermmm... tentacles are cool.
    -Map is shaped in a way which forces you to make a billion of skybridges and towers to move around. You don't have enough brake time for this.
    -Support dirt bridges between the castle and the tent tentacles are too long. You don't have enough break time to put there good bridges.
    -A lot of empty space in the castle. You could put their some stuff to parkour .
    -The castle is too easy to collapse.

    1) I was thinking about that too, but you could always use the ground to get to the other side, I think of using bridges of seizing a gap, so the other team can't get past your overhangs; any suggestions on how to fix this?
    2) I thought dirt backwalls can't be broken? :s I'll try to add a few teambridges/stone blocks to the tentacles to give teams a bit more break I guess.
    3) Yeah, I thought of that castle last minute, and I was too tired to add more stuff :P Adding parkour stuff would be pretty fun, until a builder comes and makes a stone/team bridge across the other side though.
    4) My intention was to make the castle impossible to collapse o.o How do you do that?

    Thanks for commenting though, you're like the first feedback/suggestion comment I've had :P I'd like to make my maps better, but no one ever commented :(
    Also, they're not tentacles, they're chains :p

    Replace the backwall with backdirt.

  10. 3) I was talking about the brake time - the building phase.
    4) It's attached to 2 solid blocks. The other are wall blocks. With a second builder I managed to do it in less than 2 minutes.

    Yeah, that's why I'm going to build additional bridges to help them go to the castle quicker.
    Hmm, would making the chains go inside of the waves and layering it with stone/bedrock help? Or do you have something else in mind?

    Maybe also add some partially dug tunnels through the waves/tentacles at various spots.

    This map definitely has potential.

    EDIT: Also maybe reduce the number of trees coming from the top and add a few more secured to the ground around the map. Archers are way OP atm.

    Less thick stone between tents, add space behind tents, put thick stone there

    Oh yes I forgot. The tents are too close to the sides of the map meaning you have to move inwards a bit to build shops.

    Thanks for all the feedback guys, I'll try to change the map to make it more player friendly tomorrow, as I just came back home and I'm tired xD

    EDIT: Fixed the map! You can find the changes in the changelog. :)

    Updated OP with Rayne's suggestion of replacing the castle backwalls with dirt backwalls. I guess I missed it and I thought that Ej meant that the chains we're supporting the castle. Anyways, it should be indestructible now. Any more suggestions/problems with my map? :o

    Maybe less trees overall after playing it tonight. Archers are super OP. That said I like the map a lot.

    I added more trees to give players more wood, but I guess I went a bit overboard. Haha.
    Gonna reduce trees tomorrow.

    One more suggestion, add some castle stone inside the huge balls, remove back wall holding it up and make it held by ladders/castle back wall or something to the top, so they can be dropped.
    Add some dirt background inside the top castle and make it a bit more like ruins, will stop it being collapsed
