Remember Abobo? That big mini boss from Double Dragon? Well, a couple of guys from Newgrounds thought he really needed his own game, and started creation of Abobo's Big Adventure, one of the most ambitious and greatest Flash games ever made.

You start out with standard Double Dragon fare, fighting enemies on the streets, but soon cross over to Megaman, Contra, Balloon Fight, Zelda, Punch-Out, etc. The game is HUGE, with a ton of unlockable achievements, hilarious references to damn near ANY NES game you can think of, and a ridiculously fun game to boot.

I can't even imagine what must have gone into the development of this game, there is just SO MUCH crammed into this little title, and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a good old fashioned jolt of retro goodness for the (questionably) mature gamer.

I can't believe it hasn't been more well received! I haven't laughed as hard at a game as I have with Abobo's Big Adventure. SO much jokes!

Maybe, because of the style it has usually targets people around the era only. Alot of gamers today sadly only like a game because of its high definition graphics, gameply simply flies out the window.

It took me a little bit of effort to take that guy out. I practically had to use all my lives just to beat him. Oh nostalgia hits me again.
