In all seriousness what would you do in a zombie outbreak?

My plan (agreed upon with friends) for the house I live at just now would be: Call mates, tell Kris and Andy to get their cars ready outside the super market while me and the others loot the hardware store and super market for supplies and food. Take things like batteries, radios, torches, barricade materials and potential weapons from the store and travel out to a small hill in the country to set up "fort".

Some easily defensible hills around where I live, but I moving in a few days, so I'll have to make another plan :D

    What's your plan?

  4. Stealing a single gun and playing total badass by shooting zombies which are attacking people.

To be honest, judging from my character, I'd probably be one of the first to die, so there's not much point in me making an 'In Case of Zombies' Plan. However, due to my imminent zombification in such a turn of events, I can formulate an 'In Case of Zombie' Plan, in which I mostly stumble around attempting to gnaw upon the shattered skulls of the fallen.

Or Plan B, run. Running sounds good.

Nah, everyone will try to get out of the city and get into markets and other things.
That's why everyone gets traffic jam, and everyone gets infected.
You can't get out of the city using a car in a caos situation. Unless you have something like a tank you will find your path blocked by empty cars.

I would spend the first weeks on home reinforcing my doors and walls and letting a stair ready for an easy escape to roof.
After my food supplies were over I would jump on roofs/walls to explore other houses (always with some kind of body armor and a long spear). When local supplies end up I would move to another place near and keep doing the same thing traveling away from town. If I find another group of survivor in my way I may join them depending on their plans and on their members (6 grannys, 3 kids, 2 cats and one baby isn't a very good option if you plan to survive).

Only when I had some guns and some safe way to travel I would try to build a fortness and some kind of small farm for food supplies.

Move even more further north and wait until winter... then all the zombies will freeze apart. then it will be just the matter of survining the indigenous reindeers that roam the lands....

I would be relatively easy for a truck and a large jeep to get out of my town in the rush, people would be rushing to escape sure, but my town isn't built up and there are 6 routes out of my town from where me and my friends would be looting.

It would be a great idea to steal tinned foods and other long life foods, or high calorie foods, we could fit a hell of a lot of it in the jeep too, its a big jeep. And we could carry all our friends and close family as-well.

THe hardware store I'm talking about is good to loot as-well (if either place is closed just drive the jeep through the glass doors lol), they have an entire crowbar rack of various sized crowbars, and sell fencing and planks which would be good for e-enforcements. A couple of my friends who agreed to the zombie plan have even got some building experience so they'd be useful to have around.

My new home Wellington may prove a dangerous place for a zombie out break. Built up with a high concentration of people. Few roads leading away from town where I live, already cluttered roads. Very hilly, long windy streets obscuring vision of what the situation is.

May be best to flee for the hill tops as most people would try to leave on the highways.

Guns are not an option here - but are pretty rubbish anti-zombie weapons anyway (too much noise).
Heading out to the country by bicycle seems like a decent enough idea. A farm would be a pretty good place to hold out, and there are loads of them around my home town.

In seriousness a horse would be great transportation on a zombie outbreak.

Don't you think you can get easily scratched by zombies that way? I like the idea of a quiet and versatile way of transport, but it seems... unsafe.

Most of you will not know this, but I live in a very small town in southern Louisiana. Each house is a practical military base with all the guns we pack. I don't think zombies will want to come where we are. Just saying.
