    Woman???

    meant to be OP. :)

(Ok, I will accept him as my servant. This is that story! By the way, I kind of wanted him to be a man, so I'll write like he's a man right now!)

My servant is most trusted, but I still keep an eye out for everyone. He is very limited to where he roams. He has a vast majority of books and training areas it should be a paradise. I've cursed him with a tome that doesn't allow him in my personal quarters. You will be doing great things for me, young servant.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Ok, now for the drake trip back home!)

Baldulf is currently locked in my dungeons, under 24/7 supervision. A tome has been placed so he barely has enough life force in him to stay alive. This drains him of his strength, ensuring he doesn't escape. He is a bit on the edge. A very potent drug must have been given to him. He will stay there for now, until his execution. I've a great plan for that occasion!

("He is a bit on the edge" ^^ You've kidnapped him and held him against his will, and drained him of most of his lifeforce, I imagine he's going to be a bit peeved)
It's been only one day since Baldulf was taken from us, and I freely admit it, I actually kind of miss him. Of course, the fact that we now have no idea where we're going doesn't exactly help, but without Baldulf we might as well be defenseless, he was the only decent fighter among us. Still, at least we have an idea where he might be, that lizard flew off towards the north, at least, that's what Cavall says, I was too busy cowering under a rock to notice the monster take off. I've mentioned my idea to Cavall, and he agrees, probably because he has no idea what to do either. We're going to find Baldulf, and hopefully rescue him, that is, if he's not already dead. I have no idea how we'll get past the apparent army that was stalking a us, but it seems we'll have to do what I do with my incredibly delicate potions. Improvise.

This morning, Baldulf had some kind of a seizure. I was afraid he wasn't going to make it, but he pulled through. Something is changing about that man. I expect a large retaliation to seek out Baldulf, but my soldiers say that they only saw 3 men, including him. Maybe it was a scout party? I don't know, but I'm preparing for the worst. My keep walls shield me from the outside dangers, but somehow there is always fear in my lonely heart. In the worst scenario, I'll simply barter Baldulf or kill him. Either would fit my purpose. Bartering him would do me better, but killing him shows my dominance.
(Note: I won't kill him, as it's against the forum rules, unless he wants me to. I just added it in there because it sounds cool.)

My apprentice is doing well in his studies. He's making headway on a new soldier to conjure. That's all he tells me, but I've bonded into him. I know his every move. I know he's working on something far more powerful than that.
(I need a response, or I'll take his character as an NPC, but I'll sort of just talk about him.)

(Heyo, I like what you've done. I have sorted out getting a new laptop, and it will be available to me on Wednesday by the latest. If you can see it in your kind soul, Mason, to put off my death until after that time, I can provide you with a bit of a challenge. I've been thinking up a plan of action for a while. :D)

(Sure thing, I never was going to kill you, like I said. I like a challenge! I was also showing the affects of being locked up, explaining the seizures.)

(I haven't killed anyone either, I turned no one into a zombie, and I took the zombies over a long period of time. In a time span of 5 sentences, you turned me into a woman, locked me up, and took my place. I seriously hope you are trolling because if not, this is bad.)

(I am getting incredibly confused by the plot at this point. First off, me and a band of refugees who managed to escape from the castle set up camp. Then (Plot twist alert) the King is infected with zombieitis, and we find out that someone might be controlling the zombies (Darren) However, that certain someone was obliterated by an overpowered individual we know as the DARK LORD UNIEN (or something like that) who then took control of the zombies. Me and my band of merry and stupid men set off to find the cure, only to be ambushed by goblins, losing one of our number. (Oh, did I mention that pretty much as soon as we left, the King was attacked by a zombie and only just managed to escape with his life, kinda defeating the point of the whole, cure, quest thing) We are then attacked by mysterious assassins, only to have the weakest but smartest person (Me ) save everyone from certain death. We then apparently abandon so called 'cure quest' in favour of murdering whoever tried to murder us. Classy. Finally, we set off, only to have Baldulf kidnapped by overpowered minions while under a heavy stupor imposed by 'mushrooms'. So then, being the undecisive persons we are, we then change our 'quest' (again) to saving someone who has been taken by an immensely powerful sorcerer/wizard/magical dooshbag. And then, to conclude our thrilling tale, we have someone who doesn't seem to have a name, dig him/herself a hole, walk into it, and cover him/herself.

All in all, best, storyline, ever! :B):)

I'm beginning to regret following Baldulf's twisted logic of changing the quest at the last minute, without having a clue where we're going. We're currently lost in these cursed mountains, I believe the Uruk's (That IS the name of the mountains, right? I would go back to the map and check, but it would involve clicking more than once, my finger can't take the strain). But without Gareth to guide us, we might as well be stranded in a foreign land. But worse than being lost, is the hunger. We ran out of proper food yesterday, not even a loaf of bread to help us get through the day, being forced to scavenge for berries along the winding mountain roads. All I have left is some 'shrooms', but when I offered one to Cavall, he just shook his head weakly. Ah well, at least they would make a good trap at night, if I lay them outside where we slept, and if it was eaten, the whims of madness would scare away any creature.

Speaking of creatures, we another of those.....abominations yesterday morning, and I believe I may have found a potential weakness. While direct sunlight doesn't kill them, they appear to lose their 'grip' on whatever mortal coil they have left. It was easily taken down by a couple of wolves hunting for food, and, unlike the others we've encountered, didn't get back up. At night though, there seems to be no way to stop them.

"Wait, there's something on the horizon, some sort of....tower I guess" I said, peering into the distance
"Odd, I haven't heard of any keeps in the mountains, at least, not one that is crumbled and decayed over time" Cavall said, puzzled; "Perhaps...perhaps that's where that drake came from?"
And, as if to confirm his suspicions, a throaty roar echoed out throughout the bleak peaks, reminding me once again of that terrifying encounter in the forest. Once again, I wonder how we can possibly defeat the drake, let alone the men that attacked us. Hell, we could barely beat two of them, somehow I doubt we can defeat an army. I swallowed my growing fear, and slid down the mountain slope after Cavall.

(Read up, fool! Cavall was the guide, Gareth was his soldier brother. Also, I'm back now! Mason, this will be fun. :D)

The past days, weeks, months, however long have been a blur to me; all I could sense was dulled colours and pain, my mind addled by it. I've been sitting here for some time, that I know, and these chains are riddled with rust. My armour too, and as I attempt to shift my weight it creaks like some kind of awakening creature. Struggling against the ruined metal of it, I slowly removed my armour, step by step, slowly, slowly, oh so slowly. The colours still flashed, and I could feel the intense pain constantly.

(Oh, and Mason? Please don't break my attempt to get an awesome story going again. This could hopefully develop into a really fun narrative section. I may need backup soonish, guys. ;))

(Again, re'reading it would've involved clicking more than once  So I forgot which was which)
It was only as we drew up to the tower that we realised the sheer scale of it. It matched the size of the King's Great Fortress, only it didn't appear anyway near as old. Whoever built it, must have constructed it recently. The darkish metal glowed with a sinister tint, green and black swirled almost delicately around the base. I sniffed, and instantly felt the stench of rotten corpses in the air. The smell of sorcery. Luckily, for a change, the tower was surrounded by bushes, making it easy to sneak up without fear of beng spotted. However, getting in might be a bit of problem. I counted three entrances, the first being a giant gateway, easily fifty feet wide, and twice that again tall. Human skulls were hung above the entrance, hanging from what appeared to be a fleshy cord, grinning ghoulishy at us, tempting us in.....let's not go that way. The second looked more feasible, a small open doorway into a side tower, guarded by only a single abomination. The third.... was ludicrous, there was no way that would work. A single, almost transparent stairway of glass led to the battlements. All would have been fine with that plan, except for two things. One being that the glass looked so thin that I doubted it could take our weight, the other being that there were perhaps twelve of the undead patrolling the battlements.
"The door?" I asked, almost hoping that he would say this 'plan' of ours would never work.
"I don't think we have any other choice, unless you wish to join those skulls on the main gate" Cavall exclaimed grimly
"I'll pass on that, maybe we should wait for nightfall before we try to sneak in"
"You want to go in at night!? Are you crazy, we have no hope of even killing one at night, whereas we can kill them at day"
"At night, it'll be dark, very dark. So it would be very hard to be spotted at night, if, say, someone wanted to sneak past someone, wouldn't it?" I waited patiently for the fool to get it, almost seeing the somewhat rusty cogs turn in his brain
"Oh" he said, after a good few seconds.
"Yes, well done you, but don't worry, hopefully these abominations still have some degree of human sense. And if they do....well, I have a few potions I would like to test on that guard. So yes, we wait for night"
I settled back into the leaves of the bush, and started rummaging through my satchel of tricks.

(I like how you just teleported about 90 kilometers to the mountains through all the dangerous areas and got lost. 1cm in this map is about 10km. Oh well, have fun.. I'll wander around :( )

(Oh..... I never thought about it like that, sorry :( I just saw that Baldulf wanted help soon, so, in the space of a couple of days, we've travelled to the mountains. Should I take back both of my posts? Or just improvise, succeeding or failing to rescue Baldulf, and then strolling back THROUGH the dangerous areas, relatively close to your position. That alright? :huh?: Sorry about my lack of geographical awareness)
