I often visit Indiegames.com for news on the indie industry. Lone Survivor was something I stumbled on and thought "wow, this could feel like the old school Silent Hill" So this is a definite buy for me.

Like Cortex command tho, the dev has a another option that shows support for future devs. It is a hefty $50 but he does plan on giving some extra goodies for that price.

In my head, it comes across as an epic mashup between Wasteland, 1213(If you're into horror, go play this), To The Moon, and Psychonauts. Don't ask me why, but each of those titles immediately came to mind while I was watching that.

I've played demo on Kongregate.
First i was scared with that sh*t, and not exiting my house, like for 9 days. :C

Lol, it is survival horror but with modern concept. I love it. I'm happy you tried it at least. It is pretty jumpy at times. The sound quality is great.

 

When I tried the demo I couldn't move for some reason. I thought it was because I was using Google Chrome so I used Firefox and I still couldn't move around...Anyone know why?

 

Try updating flash player.

 

I went to try and update and it gave me this message: "Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome will automatically update when new versions of Flash Player are available " So confusing . :(

I played the demo: http://www.kongregate.com/games/superflat/lone-survivor-demo and then decided that I need this game. The graphics look like embroidery mixed with old TV screen effects. Great, spooky athmosphere and everything.

 

the game seems pretty cool! I loved the trailer.
