    Biggest problem I find is when people come up with some game that they make clear in very few posts that they intend on taking most of the way, intend on having a lot of content, get people excited about, make about 1/5th of that, and then say 'well I'm sorry so it's okay now', sorry doesn't make it go away, and the worst thing is that if it's similar to Terraria people will probably buy it all over again which is absolutely ridiculous.

    You know Notch took it in a whole different area, so at least those same people aren't as inclined because who cares about a fucking digital card game that will be a shitty version of Magic The Gathering Online, but he's literally saying "NO there's no more progress I'm not excited" "But I'll work on the same exact fucking thing and slap a '2' at the end of the name", that's probably the worst excuse I've ever heard ^^;

    The fact that this happens typically to just about every 1-2 person gaming `team` says something about how these teams need to grow with the community, the larger problem tends to be growing without giving up your creative license but while also allowing those people you add to the team to show a bit of theirs, with the wrong team things can go wrong and you can waste more time than you would have otherwise but there eventually reaches a point where you can't do it with 1-2 people alone and that seems to show constantly.

    From my view, the cause for halts in most game development companies or parties is the fact that they failed to stimulate a foresight before attempting the project.

    I have to say though, this would apply to anyone's career as well.

    I for one am very excited that the creator Terraria is moving on to better things that excite him. Working on stuff that does not excite you is a waste of time and a waste of your life.

    I liked Terraria. Its a shame it isn't being passed on to a) another team or b) the community.

    Other than that its important for people to do what's best for them.

    Meh, I've always thought Terreria was a King Arthur's Gold clone. :p

    Why is source code unavailable? Will bought the game if you answer or tell who knows it!

    Terraria was a fun game while it lasted. It was fun to screw around but in the end, the fun started to burn out too. The updates were nice too, but I think in the end it was doomed to quite it's existence. Anyway, there is some replay value, so that should keep people going I guess?

    Okay, so which one of you fools registered as me on the Terraria forums and reposted my first couple of posts almost verbatim? Hahahaha. I am so flattered!

    Guess they do? XD
    Just enjoy both games. Comparison isn't needed and in fact, they don't compare.
