Yay! I can personally attest to the quality of the manga if you feel like going on, but the show ends pretty well. Also, if you have an suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I am a bit lost on what to watch after finishing The Devil is a Part Timer.
Holy crap I was thinking of watching that one. As far as suggestions, uh... I don't know what you've watched, so I'll throw two at you to double the chances of not suggesting something you've seen.
Hmm... If you enjoy slice of life and comedy with occasional emotional roller coasters, I suggest you check out Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (The Pet Girl of Sakura Hall) and Kotoura-san. In that order.
I'm hooked on that first one you recommended me. Not only is it not one of those disappointing half-seasons, they make lead has the same VA as Kirito. "But Syto, SAO is ****!" Shaddup.
I won't claim that SAO is crap. Personally, I enjoyed the show. Yeah, the plot took a nosedive, but I've watched shows with NO plot and had fun with them, so yeah.
Looking forward to your ongoing thoughts as you watch Sakurasou, though. I was hesitant to say it before you started, but now that you have, I might as well... it's basically my number one favorite anime. Ever.
It's very good. The characters interact nicely. There's not too much of the really cheesy "magic anime situation-fix," and they all have their own insecurities and hopes.
