Made a promo video for my new icon pack. Surprisingly, this only took ~12 hours to do (usually takes me a a few days or even a week):

It looks nice. I like all the different textures/dithering techniques you added. Is it based on a real place? I see Japanese characters I think.

I used google street view and walked my way around tokyo for some inspiration with buildings and to copy words. 90% sure the street says "stop" but i have no idea what I wrote on the left building haha.

My Rocket Raccoon is on the way, I just haven't had the time to sit down and draw. I'll give you a progress update:

Cool stuff dude. I know this is an artdump thread and not a "critique thread" but I think it would go a long way if you were to focus more on separating your shapes with changes in colour instead of lines. Also imo if you were to emphasize more on your pixel control and tone down on the dithering it could clean up the piece a bit since the dithering gives off sort of a random feeling. Keep on making cool stuff, dude.

I DID IT I FINALLY PERFECTED IT! The idle animation. God this took me 2 years finally get down, but now I understand it's quite simple when you put all the parts of standing still together accompanied with bouncing effects to pull off this neat trick.

Really cute, @fangpier656 ;D If you wanna be a nerd here's a cool read/tutorial about animation in PA that gets thrown around a lot http://2dwillneverdie.com/tutorial/give-your-sprites-depth-with-sub-pixel-animation/. Talks about metal slug and all that. The way it talks about subpixelling would probably be more useful for the shiny part on the mask for the guy above Fish, still cool to read tho. Ill stfu now but here's one more link that's probably more interesting since it deals with animation as a whole might help you if you're looking to learn more about stuff like that (2 min) https://vimeo.com/93206523

@TheAverageMan thanks for the tutorial, I followed some of the steps like moving the colors.
So I replicated it on the tf2 character pyro because he has a array of different colors and details. Pyro-idle-ani.gif

My only sorta problem with it, as the face is shown tilted, the gasmask part on the side of the face should be BEHIND the rest of the face, instead of in front.
As you can see, with his face slightly turned (it looks like it's turned less than your sprite), the gasmask part on the side isn't front and center, but shown behind the rest.
It might simply be because your face lacks shading at this point, but it just sorta... irks me.

Incredibly nitpicky, but these details are what makes pixel art fantastic, and you seem to have a knack for it as is. Might as well find things to critique so you can grow as an artist.
