Didn't play much of World of the Living Dead. So can't say much about it. But it uses Google Maps as the world (I think it's only U.S. map).

Played more of Die2Nite than the other 2 links here. It's about surviving a zombie apocalypse in a desert with other players. Everyone in the town has to work together to survive each night.

I played this about as much as I did WotLD. It's very story based. Kind of feels like a Choose your own Adventure thing.

Haven and Hearth is ALL about surviving! It is not like in minecraft where you punch a tree and go mining with a wooden pickaxe!
You need to play for about 1-3 weeks to dig a mine, and it is not so simple too!You do this with a stone hammer and rocks falling from the cave...Oh i forgot about the animals....You can die fighting with a FOX, even if you have a good equipment!

Quite surprised that there are the number of free flash games online that can be really great to play. They surely are not the top tier games that many would fancy but would be just right to get you through a boring ad challenging day ahead. I guess it is just being able to find what suits you well so that you could already start on it. Thanks for sharing this still.
