Do any fellow KAG-ians play a musical instrument?

Salutations, friends! It is I, Guro.

Do any of you wonderful people have musical talent or possess a musical instrument? Post about it here if you do. Pictures are always encouraged. I recently purchased a rather nice synthesizer, which got me to wondering if the KAG community possesses much musical talent. Post your compositions (soundclouds/bandcamps/youtube), instrument pictures or musical skills in this thread.

Your music has really good ambient feel to it. I found it quite enjoyable while conjuring up a next gif :)

Play violin. Play noise. Too tired to say anything.

 

Instruments makes me feel bad. I simply do not have the will to practise at it, each to his own I suppose.

I've tried playing the guitar, drums, recorder, violin, ocarina, keyboard, piano. Besides from getting really good at playing the triangle, all of it has been a failure. I was able to gain a basic understanding of the guitar, but even that ancient art was lost to me.

So what can we dissect from all this is that I enjoy listening to all sorts of music performed by all of these lovely instruments, but trying to play them gives me great anxiety.

Same. Although I cannot say I have actually practiced instruments, but I know from experience that aside from typing on a keyboard, I do not have very nimble fingers or good coordination.

I love violins though, favourite instrumental artist would be Michal Jelonek.

 

I play trumpet. I want to learn Violin.

 

I play Piano and the violin.
This has nothing to do with being half asian.

And I suppose the fact that my friend is good a table tennis, calculus and has many years experience working in a restaurant has nothing to do with the fact he is asian either.

 

I wasn't posting that jokingly.
On other forums I've gotten messages like "Go figure, you're asian" messages whenever I said I played any of the two instruments.

 

I'm terrible at all instruments and math.

I'm asian.

edit: i've played a little bit of guitar. can almost do a passable cover of mgmt's kids

Oh, I also play a $25,000 harp.

 

Just say "harp" makes you sound like less of a dildo :P
