[Custom Zombie] The Monstrosity

    This 10 heart rocking, 0.5 damage doing experiment gone wrong has somewhat fast attacks (along with a million grunts), the ability to climb walls and moves alot better and faster then most ground zombies when mid air.
    I was too lazy to make a video so this is a try for it yourself kinda thing
    FAQ
    Does this work?
    I tested it before uploading it, yes it should work.
    Does this work in Multiplayer?
    If those joining the server have Monstrosity.png in their Entities folder then yes it should work. If not the game will probably kick them from server automatically. (global server texturepacks pls) So if you want to host a server with this I suggest you password it and give out the pass on the forums to your pals or buddies.
    How do I add it?
    1. Save Monstrosity.png in C:\KAG\Base\Enities\Actors\Sprites and the Monstrosity.cfg in C:\KAG\Base\Enities\Actors
    2. Go into the Enities folder again and open the Managers folder
    3. Open ZombieDirector.cfg scroll to the bottom it should look like this:

    @$_entitys = Entities/Actors/Zombie.cfg, 2;
                Entities/Actors/Skeleton.cfg, 1;
                Entities/Actors/Wraith.cfg, 15;
                Entities/Actors/ZombieKnight.cfg, 40;
                Entities/Actors/Greg.cfg, 26;
    Add Entities/Actors/Monstrosity.cfg, NUMBER; to the bottom, the number is up to you
    Boot up Zombies and it should be fine. (Your Director might be reset after an update so always keep a backup)

    Maybe you should create a thread called the bestiary or something and add all actors you create there.
    It beats making new threads for each.

    Also it could act as a place where everyone could post their custom actors :P, so everyone could share their mods into some kind of huge bestiary and it could save lots of time for other modders/people.

    That's enough to give me nightmares. I have no clue how their heads got mashed up like that - all I know is that there are no words to describe the pain the sprites are feeling right now. Job Well Done :D

    Would it be possible to combine the actions of a Greg and implement it into this sprite? I'm still curious. I know that you'll need more sprite sheet space but as a theory, can u answer my question?

    Would be useless because it can't fly, and it could only have 1 attack so basically all it would do is grab you.
     
  14. Hey mishKa, I'm almost done with animating it. I only need one more sprite, for a corpse. Since I suck at pixel art it would be great if you could make it.

    Haha, wow, how long did it take you to animate all those frames!?:eek: Sure I'll make the corpse sprite happen. I think I can manage to sprite it tomorrow!:)

    Actually it only uses about two rows worth of frames. I got layer happy and decided to throw the heads on everything though and keep them. He animated your sprite really well.

    Updated the original post with the Alternative (and alot better looking) Monstrosity. Also updated a few parts of the config.
