What is your goal in life?

For me it's to get the Nobel Prize in Physics, use the 1m to saved the world, get moar nobel prizes and become infinitely powerful.

 

hm, I've never truly thought about my goal in life, I'll have to think :p

 

Here's my plan:

• Buy a house over here in Australia using some money I have saved.
• Rent the house out.
• Move to Cambodia and rent a house/live on the income generated from my property.
• Pursue my interests in music, visual art, writing and philosophy at my leisure.
• Die a happy and fulfilled man.

I've done all the math and it works out. Will hopefully be moving over there in a few months if everything goes according to plan.

Live in any asian country, have a comfortable job, provide money for my family which I hope to consist of a beautiful asian wife and around 7 or more kids.

Joining Canadian Forces, i'll see if it's possible and the best way for me.

Become an engineer, like my father and his brothers, my grandfather and his brothers, and my great-grandfather (and possibly one or two of his brothers).
That's the fate of my father's side of my family.
Lawyers make up most of my mother's side, but America already has too many lawyers so I decided against that.

 

Joining the Swedish army. According to their training program, I would make a great soldier.

1. Pursue a career in Computer Science
2. Fall in love with the right girl
3. Make music, and not charge people for it (becoming famous isn't necessary; it would be more of a perk)

No, people need money to survive. That's how it works. 'It' being the system. Capitalism. America. I do hold music in very high regard, but I'd rather a be playing guitar under a roof than on the street. I have considered studying music, but decided to keep it as a hobby. I figured all the theory would only bog down the creative process. The contradiction was a joke (not charging people for money as #3, but expecting profit in #5, akin to the meme for ordered lists).

Marriage, because I'm in an elaborative mood right now, isn't number 2. People can be in love without being married. Marriage complicates things. Being in love with someone would have all the benefits of an actual marriage, without the actual committment (which sounds like something a sleaze would say) but it's the commitment that gives marriage that 'trapped' feeling. Or so I think. I'm only 18, what do I know.
