[REQUEST] Imperial Pack! [Elder Scrolls]

HELLO, MY DEAR KAGGERS!​

This idea is pretty simple, really.​

Imperials. The Legion. Skyrim. Oblivion.​

You know the drill.​

Seeing as how both Archers and Knights would be EXTREMELY simple,​

(not for me, anyways. but the sprite sheet would be pretty identical)​

Really, they could both be the same, aside from.. Y'know. The bow. And the sword.​

I was thinking, like. The Light Armor, made of leather, for the Imperials?​

I think that in itself would add a lot of Depth and Immersion to the game, but hey.​

This post isn't as bad as far as requests go, but I am entirely certain that as soon as we have the more extensive server modding we will be buried under requests, so I gotta address a few points:

1. Link to some resources and references related to what you're requesting. Sure people reading it could Google real quick but why should they have to do that extra bit of work when they're trying to do you a big favour? There's always going to be someone who isn't familiar with the requested game or movie or whatever and even if they do go and search themselves there may be some confusion as to what you're actually referring to.

2. Give it a try yourself. It really means a lot to see someone actually put in the effort and attempt to make something, even if they do an absolutely awful job. I mean really why should anyone care when you yourself don't even care enough to crack open MSPaint for a couple minutes and have a go? Speaking from experience on the very busy requests forum at DRLFF people are more than ten times as likely to help someone who's shown that they've attempted to put some work in.

3. This is really just a nitpick and mostly personal taste but I don't like the tone you're taking in this thread, particularly the "do it." Making a single good sprite is a huge amount of work and making a the pages of animation it would require to fulfill your request is simply a massive undertaking. You shouldn't be so casual when trying to take dozens of hours out of someone else's life and I think people would be a lot more inclined to help if you asked rather than simply commanded them to "do it".

99% of requests do not get fulfilled and for the most part they are just a waste of space. There was a request thread I smooshed together which you probably should have searched for- though it was a fairly lackluster thread so it's not a huge deal. Gotta go to sleepytown right now but maybe tomorrow I'll put one up. Or if someone makes me a good one in the mean time I'd really appreciate it.
