MM, how do you feel about Ben selling AoS to Jagex?

    Aquestion to MM, I know AoS was an inspiration of his when creating KAG.

    How do you feel about Ben aka BcoolFace (creator of AoS) selling the game to Jagex and basically selling out on his community and disappearing/hiding (he deleted his tweets, put his steam profile on private, etc.)

    He also never announced this to his community and never spoke on it, just kind of sold the game behind the scenes and went into hiding.

    Iust want to hear your opinion and what you think.

    What are your thoughts on all of this mess? do you think it was a good idea? etc.

    PS. You can still play AoS 0.76 on www.BuildAndShoot.com which is a player ran community for the original AoS and not the Jagex version.

    I know what you mean but it kind of is related, if there was no AoS there probably wouldn't be KAG because it was MM's inspiration, from what I've read.

    You could of wrote this on MM's profile , Or even start a conversation rather then then starting a thread with it.

    It's a great question i'm just rather questioning it belong here , I see what you mean in the post above but maybe you should of posted it on his profile/Convo.

    MM's real busy coding the new KAG version, the chance of him replying here is near zero.

    Going to move this to the other games section, seems like a topic you can discuss there.

    Curious, why is this being asked?

    I'm sure MM has his opinions, but are you legitimately curious, or are you just looking for a reason to blast him if his answer isn't likeable to yours?

    I can see this going sour either way.

    1)He doesn't like it, when the game goes on steam/paradox gaming/whatever they got on, you guyswill bitch and say MM sold out too, even though that's not really true (hopefully won't be either)

    2)He explains to you why the fucking decision was made, because you know nothing (neither do I) of what really happened between AoS creator and Jagex, how much money they were offered, and what part of what you don't like about the new AoS was 'selling out' or just planned by the AoS creator already, you probably get pissed and start to think MM will 'sell out' because you're a fucking shingle who can't think for himself.

    3)He says he doesn't care or some other thing, you get anally furious that his answer was not what you wanted.


    The chance of him responding to this is low as hell anyway, he's way too busy with all the new coding, so to make a silly post like this directed towards him is kind of pointless.

    From what I know the game was sold almost 1,5 years ago. Only recently they started doing something with it.
