Hey GoodleShoes, I was thinking of taking up the banjo and was wondering, what kind of banjo are you getting? Ive been looking at either the Deering Goodtime or a Helix banjo.

The Helix banjo sounds like a type of skateboard.

Well, I ended up getting a Fender Rustler for around 300 and it plays great. It's openback because I plan to play a lot of clawhammer stuff but I've heard a lot of good things about goodtime that's the brand I was originally going to buy but they didn't have any at the place I was shopping and this one was so nice for the price.

Thanks for the reply GoodleShoes. I was going for open back as well and that fender looks pretty nice. Thanks for the tips. Happy Holidays!

I believe lomichelotti is referring to what is sometimes called the 'keyboard', which is electric.

Thats awesome! I'm not a dedicated piano player (I play more guitar) so I just have a dinky little Casio LK-45:D

  19. I play the drums, piano, guitar. I really want to learn the violin but don't have time or resources. I practice a Weinstein Curvex Acousticon and play in jam with others whenever I'm on guitar or drums.
On an unrelated note, *snickers... get it? ... nevermind ..*
Guro, what do you use to synthesize your music?
    Peace! :)
