Windows Major lag/delay of the game.

    Just downloaded kag and turned on the game. 2 windows came up, the PLAY/Setup/Create Account window and this black one below. Don't really know if that's normal hah. And when I press play wether I go full screen or a smaller window it just lags so much regardless of online offline. The mouse cursor has such a big delay that it's uncontrolable. It's definitely not my computer config as it's not weak at all. I'd appreciate some help.

    You seem to have an outdated version of kag on your PC.
    First uninstall the game, delete the remaining folder and then install it with a clean copy from http://kag2d.com. (don't forget to delete the remaining folder)

    If you still have the problems after updating the game, please update your video card's drivers. There seems to be a problem with these.

    The screenshot you showed me tells me something went wrong during the last update. Please reinstall the game like I said. The "could not load the news" is because you have the old version of the game installed. Do you have any kind of anti-virus that sandboxes installations? Please allow kag to do anything during the install.

    Well yeah did that and it updated normally, I can see the news now but didn't actually fix the lag
    I tried joining a game a that made it go half a frame per second haha

    Tried Control panel-Device manager and that internet search option and it says it's up to date

    To know which video card you have, check online your computer model e.g. "Inspiron 630m MXC051" and then you can google your computers specs to find out your video card model.

    Once you know which video card you have, google the drivers e.g. "Intel graphics 945 driver" and install them.

    Updated everything. Doesn't lag anymore to a point of every 10 seconds when there's a huge lag spike, regardless of online/offline play
    lags the same in the tutorial and in an online match

    i have the same prob on my crappy pc with a crappy integrated video card...luckily im getting a awesome pc in 3 days. havent been able to play kag for a month due to a update that screwed up it on my pc i guess... yes i tried uninstalling it and deleting the remaining folders...

    I have an Integrated Intel® GMA HD video card too on my Asus laptop... and am not getting anything better anytime soon. Is this problem going to be fixed? I have uninstalled and re-installed with all my security off and I still get an error when trying to connect to the latest news/update the new installation.

    The motherboard is a k53e
    I can't find anything more specific than that. Looking at the device in device manager doesn't offer anything more specific, and the BIOS doesn't show any specifics.

    Ok,
    go to http://downloadcenter.intel.com/
    Then fill in the right menu like this and click on 'Find' and select your OS at the menu you see then, like below.

    Download the exe you found and save it on a place you can find it back.

    Open your Control Panel -> Programs Features and remove your current Intel HD Graphics. (restart if necessary)

    Then Run the exe you've downloaded above. (and install if necessary)

    Your Laptop should be able to handle KAG, I've seen worse computers playing kag.

    Well I guess I found the issue. The even though I uninstalled KAG before downloading it, a previous installation on another profile on my computer still had the old files. I noticed it in the path in the log I posted... so after deleting that it all seems to be working now. Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for the help!
