Curve Fever.

Day 1: It started oh so simply, as these addictions often do: "Oh, hey, Zuboki! You should play this little casual game we found! It's like Snake meets Light Bikes from Tron!" I was, of course, hesitant at first; I already had a large backlog of games to play, and I didn't see the need in wasting time with something so simple.

"I'll play one game", I said. Oh, what a fool I was.

Day 3: Well, whattayaknow! Creating an account lets you track your stats and add a friends list. I guess I'll stop playing unnamed games. What a great balance of accessability and permanence. Maybe this little game has a future after all.

Day 67: I have all but exhausted my supply of willing players. At first I played alongside those who introduced me, but its novetly wore off to them, and I was still hungry. I turned to Facebook, and began reconnecting with all of my college friends. They were amused, but couldn't appreciate the game on this deeper level that I had fostered. I joined mumble servers, dragging Boxpipe, young Radpipe, and Arcrave down with me. They broke free. I did not.

Day 89: Here I sit at work, shuffling around purchase orders and dragging cells through my cash flow statement to create the illusion of progress. But my mind is not here, no. My mind is a small green dot at the end of a line, carving a path of righteousness, leading others to their deaths by cutting off their very futures, seeking out powerups with the fury of a man scorned ('cept the green turtle, fuck that shit), and relentlessly "boo"ing anyone who dares lag in my servers. Damn you, web blocker! Why must you keep me from my calling! I don't care that the only people left at this point don't speak any english. Sure, they're mostly trolls who drop out half the time, it doesn't matter! I just need... to... play... a game...

Day 89, a little later: Oh yeah- I never posted this to the KAG Forums. I bet they'd like it. :D

Yayayaya I like Curve Fever 2 as well, is awesome. Runs on any major platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) because it is browser based - but as for browser based game it is very well-made, even on Linux with shitty Flash Player the performance is very good.

You gotta be kidding me. In CF you can always find some lagless partners for the game. I'd say the playerbase is at least comparable.
