    Hello there!

You should create videos because you like it, not to earn subscribers. If you continue producing quality material, people with similar interest might eventually come to you, but don't make that your goal- then your are setting yourself up for disappointment!

Asking people to subscribe wont make your channel more active, subscriptions basically counts for nothing in the end. It should be up to each and everyone to subscribe if they like what they see. If you tell them to subscribe and they wind up blindly doing so, then they will most certainly not contribute to your videos.

Of course, each to his own, but I find it to be bad manners asking for people to subscribe. Of course, I don't see a problem in advertising your channel, but do it a reasonable and respectful manner. Don't be redundant about it!

Tell us what your channel is about, what to expect in the future, about yourself, yadda yadda.

To comment on your videos, the most glaring thing I can see that is relatively easy to improve is the resolution. While the framerate and sound are perfectly fine, there are two black borders on each side on the screen- this is called pillar-boxing.

The youtube player runs in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Since the video you uploaded is the wrong resolution- for example 1024x728, which is a 4:3 aspect ratio, Youtube will add black bars to force the video to fit in the window.

Edit: Oh, someone will probably soon mention this, but I believe your post would fit better right here: KAG Media

Edit 2: Something else to think about! Don't render a video in a resolution higher than your raw recorded footage. Instead find a program that is capable of recording full-screen, then play the game in a 1280x720, a good working resolution for youtube, then render with the same resolution.

This is all well and good, posting it in General Discussion, but it's not where it's meant to go. I've moved this thread to misc.
