My favourite games are RPGs, and Action Adventures like Bioshock and Metro :) RTS are also good.

 

I love RPG's as well, and non-linear games. I absolutely hate FPS, especially multiplayer ones. I find them cheap; you can get killed and have absolutely no idea how.

 

I used to like cod when I was 12 xD, then I realised how good other games were. Sometimes games like Arma and Battlefield can be good though.

 

You forgot MOBA. And we should be able to vote for multiple genres imo, at least three.

 

I enjoy FPS games, but mainly TF2 and Halo, I don't like games where 1 stray pistol bullet can headshot instakill.
I would say RPGs but I realized that the only one I can stand to play is pokemans

Indie games, because often the creators will interact with the community/fan base (KAG, Soldat) much more than, say, a corporation like EA games.

Puzzle games because it works up my brain. They're the gym for my mind

Simulator games (Flight sim, or RSRBR - rally simulator, playing it with a Logitech wheel; best thing ever)

Most important, old games. Vintage games. 8 - bit Nintendo games. 2000's PC games. Anything. Those were the times. I don't like talking to people who don't know about any the games from that time.

Mainly games that involve tactics(WiC) and space stuff(X3, Kerbal Space Program).

Anyways, you forgot the god-tier deception genre in there: Subrosa, The Ship, Black Annex, Epic Mafia, Trouble in Terrorist Town and to an extent, Spess Vidya 13.

I love how FPS is in dead last, I have have played sooo many amazing FPS games, hl2, bioshock, system shock, halo, tf2, quake, doom, fallout (bit of a stretch but i'll put it here), battlefield every so often, i could go on and on...

but i hate CoD and Gears of War more then any other game,

CoD = remember that game that was decently good that you bought 12 months ago? we're going to change the names of the guns a little bit and add a gamemode that is already in (insert game here) and make you buy it again
