I don't know if that's for every game. But with the Magicka Collection I bought there once I received a normal Steam key without the need of using their client.
Edit: It says so in the System requirements if you need their client.

Nice to know. Every game Ive ever looked at seemed I needed to download the client to even buy it, as there wasnt a buy option on their webpage. OFC I only did this once or twice and then started ignoring their sales. Maybe I should give it another go.

Yes, as I can remember they do try to make you get their client even if you don't need it. But for the Magicka thing they also had to give me the steam key so I didn't even try the client. I'm sure there are discussion threads somewhere with people who know better than me which of their games activate on steam without the client.

I love it. I like the original Master of Magic more though :D I still play it a few times a year for a couple days at a time. Ive bought it twice. Once back when it was on floppies and again a few years later on CD.

Yeah, it's not quite as good as Master of Magic, but it's the closest thing to a modern revival. :D

    Wonky is back?!
Was it me vanishing that made his greatness reappear?
    :' ( Okay I'll leave then.
    *Goes and cries in corner*
Also so many bundles was it me vanishing that made them come or did Wonky bring the bundles?
Also fun fact: For a long time I thought Wonkyth was Wonklyth
Your mind is blown I know.
But you have failed at trackin all teh bundlin for shame. I'll come out of the corner just to inform you of teh other bundles.

Perhaps Wonky coming back is why there is a new bundle in a box. [I sense a conspiracy theory.]

Haha, I never really left! :D
I've just been a bit more in lurk-mode, for various reasons. One being Uni, the other being that I'm currently stuck using crippled linux running on ancient hardware, so the games I've been able to run has more-or-less been limited to simple Flash games; I cant even run KAG! :'(

While I do think that Bundle-in-a-box is the worthiest bundle in existence, I currently have no affiliation with them other than being a big fan of Gnome. ;)
But yeah, great games, and definitely deserving of your money. :)
Yes I will hate you if you pass on this one.

Cant say I recommend any of them that much, unless you feel the need to pad out your Steam collection some more... :P

Yeah, I've already pointed out the reason why you're all going to get this bundle. And look, as an added bonus, you get Europa Universalis III! :D

Storm in a Teacup is lots of fun, from memory. The Oddworld games are also great, if you don't mind them being hard as hell. Lots of my friends really got into Spellforce when it came out, although I found it tedious. Nethergate is fantastic, as all Spiderweb games are. :D
The PRIZE of the pick, however, is just about to be unlocked: Geneforge! ALL FIVE OF THEM! AMAAAAAAAZEBAAAAAAALLS!

    A surprisingly good bundle, actually!
Anodyne's fresh on Steam atm, and it's pretty decent. Cthulhu Saves the World is a fantastic parody of retro/classic JRPGs, while still being a decent JRPG in it's own right!
As for the other two, I haven't been able to play them yet, but I've heard good things. :)

Why would you need my recommendation? They're all fantastic.

Yes, definitely check out that Early Access goodness. If you've got a more meaty computer, give ArmA III a look as well; They're nearly indie. ;)
And yeah, sales sales sales. Buy stuff.

SPAZ is good fun. Give it a go if you think you'll enjoy it. :)

Not sure I can condone that kind of behaviour. While Sequence may be one of the best takes on the Rhythm-Game genre, it'll probably go on sale again soon anyways, so don't be a cheapskate. :P
Additionally, There Will Be An Echo will probably be damned amazing, so if you have the cash to make the pledge you're probably doing yourself a favour. ;)
Also it has Wil ^#%!ING Wheaton in it. And the music for it is being made by Ronald gosh-darned Jenkees and Big ^#%!ING Giant Circles. If you don't know who these people are, then stock up on provisions and get googling; It may be some time before you've had enough of seeing/hearing what awesome stuff they've done.
Yes, I am fucking excited for this one. 25252525
Also, the quoted section is moot, as the kickstarter is over. ;)

    And now I'm tired. :)

Has anyone ever done humble bundle and done the bonus content that is physically sent to you? Wondering how their shipping is, I see that Bastion bandana and want it very badly.

Nobody ever did this before because this is first time they do this thing. You can ask their support about shipping however I think bandana was only available to this weekend we just passed.

Celebrities die in threes and great Humble Indie Bundles come every other main Humble Bundle.
And as two celebrities haven't just deaded you don't have to worry that I'll be next and you can assume that there is a new great Humble Bundle right meow!
That is very good news that will help me get over thee fact that I managed to miss the previous Humble Bundle--what a bumble blunder. I've missed all the bundles lately because fail and because internets connection acting up--but it won't be long till I'm back and got more merges in my post than replies in Wonky's last post. :p

I'm pretty sure in the bundle tracking industry that is punishable by death and or paying full price!

Little Inferno supposed to be amazing
Awesomenauts supposed to be kind of amazing
Capsized supposed to be amazing ? Is it I haven't enjoyed this one too much. :| [Must be me :p ]
Thomas Was Alone supposed to be amazing [I'm so excited.]
Dear Ether supposed to be amazing [not totally full Linux supportness kind of]

Beat the average $5.60 atm and shooting up waaay fast
Hotline Miami supposed to be amazing
    Proteus supposed to be amazing

All come with tracks of sounds and of course it wouldn't be humble if they didn't violently throw extras at you later.

Also Reprisal is le awesome definitely check that out if it is still free and it is possible I have a giftable copy of that somewhere.

I recognize almost none of these games which makes me feel all youthful inside so you should buy this based on that.

Lol I just want to clear this up not that it matters as the KS is done and succeed. I was not a cheapskate about Sequence in fact it is one of those rare games I bought outside of a bundle because the trailer was so great and because of 'Ronald gosh-darned Jenkees' and it was great even though I had some save issue [I assume it was my fault] that makes it too hard to get the rest of the achievements even though I already beat the game. :(
And you should go buy Sequence now even though it isn't even on sale.
I noted that it was possible as bundle news is my sole purpose in life... :P And maybe someone did that and loved it and will now buy There Came an Echo or something [or just enjoy the bejesus out of Sequence].

    Also:
You may not have left but I unintentionally did. :p

    Also also:
You might have to hate me. When I went afk I missed the latest Bundle in a Box!!! :(
