[781] Migrant Mangler Heart Maker

This might traumatize some of you, but there is a way to farm hearts quickly and efficiently.

First you will need to make a saw and get enough wood to make 5 buildings.
Next, dig a hole under ground and start making the buildings in rooms. I'll show you a example
Grab an additional stack of wood and put the saw in the entrance of the undergound rooms.
Last you will need to make all of the buildings into dorms.

When you done constructing it let the migrants fall in to the saw. Let about 4-8 waves of the five migrants to fall in

Once that is done seal the room up so no more migrants can get in. Throw the saw to the other side of the room and anything else besides hearts. It helps if you clear two backpack slots for a faster pick up of the hearts. When you are ready to collect the hearts press "c" to pick one up and click a empty slot in you bag(Leave the mouse cursor where the empty slot is and to open you bag you press and hold f). Press "c" again and put it in the same empty spot. The hearts will start to stack and you can repeat "c" then "click" pretty fast to pick up those hearts.

To rapidly use the hearts you can spam "space", but this will kind of make you invincible and that is just not fair and will most likey make this farmed get patched :(

Hurray. Now we will have "invincible knights". That have 50 hearts and constantly are pressing SPACE to heal.

 

im gonna do this in the test build and spawn kill MM for an additional hour...

Actually we can make a gamemode centered on space spamming. Like chasing shark hoards or something. Or what Arcrave said.

 

...and why exactly would you make a heart generator if you need dorms to do that?
hearts can be found on the battlefield you know.

 

yeah but you only find one or two, think of the possibilities of a 50 heart knight? Instant steamroller mode

 

Disable the stack function. One of everything is enough.

 

There are still quite a couple of ways to counter this,
a same height mounted bow can easily peel the hearts of the "invincible knights" away.

All you have to do is to have a stack of arrows and keep shooting, the first shot would stun, then you spam the arrows down and due to the rapid firing mechanism of the mounted bow they can't shield back up or move away, continously stunned, and they will resort to using up all of the hearts. But arrows are much more plentiful than hearts.
On occasion, you might even kill them before they start healing.

 

Only problem is that arrows don't stun anymore.

 

To bad hearts don't go into storage automatically. If you made this on a server wonder what you teammate would think you doing.

Died via saw pit. (Instadeath)
It doesn't make you invinvible, just gives you a great healing ability.
You could also put one under the only barracks for your team, and when they spawn at the barracks.... xD

 

Was trolling some kinghts today with this as a builder. I kept on getting emoicons. Btw you can only stack 30 hearts so in totaly you can heal yourself 120 times as a builder, 60 times as archer, and 30 times as a knight. Didn't expect this "farm" to have some form of balance.

I saw you use this yesterday, it creates a shitload of lag, so this probably isn't the best idea to build.

Hearts arent the only hp giving item...

 

Nope, Bread won't stack.

 

I think killing migrants and getting there hearts is funner and more efficient than growing crops

 

spam spcebar to use hearts faster. only 30? thats 34 hearts total. almost 9 times anybody else. its not useless.
