Can't login

    Authentication failed etc.

    Tried about 4x, works fine on here, doesn't work in game. Even tried changing the password. Don't have a firewall beyond that built in to Windows 7 .

    Kinda disappointing.

    Are their any weird rules about user names and passwords?

    It's the standard you-got-your-password wrong error, only I haven't.

    Authentication failed; please check your username and password and try again"

    Never mind, got on now. Guessing there's a delay before new applicants (via website) can play.

    There is no delay, you must have done something else wrong :) The forums and homepage use the exact same login system as the game, all synchronized

    Glad you got it working though - enjoy the game

    Hey,

    i got the same problem (same error message). Tried several times and even a try with a second account did not solve my login fail..

    Forum and main page work thou...

    Windows 7, Firewall and Antivir disabled..

    That just means you have your username or password wrong

    Does your password by chance have a colon in it? If not, what about other special characters?

    The new auth API/protocol does not work with passwords containing colons, but it is possible there are bugs with other special characters as well. Though the forum uses this protocol as well, so something else must be going on...

    same promlem! like the rest i put meh password and username in corect and it says what evryone else on the page said
