KAG No player character in SP

    Hey! I downloaded the game in order to try the offline mode before I purchase. I start up the offline mode, then challenge (or sandbox), the map loads and... nothing. I see the map, I can navigate with my mouse but there's no character/knight to walk around and do stuff. I'm basically stuck after the map loads in both sandbox and challenge. Any ideas?

    Okay, figured it out. That was really confusing. I had to create account (I did so to post this thread), log in, then start the offline mode. This is really confusing and should actually be a bug.

    After playing once (after I logged in) I can now successfully play without logging in. Maybe it has something to do with missing cache files? The repro steps are fairly easy but probably have to be done on a clean VM, with no prior installs:
    1. Install the game.
    2. Launch and try to play offline mode, without prior log ins.
