KAG Disable the camera

    I hate that when I'm playing as a knight the camera dances all over the place when my mouse gets anywhere near an edge of the screen. I saw an option in the menu that was supposed to "Fix Camera" but it's already checked and doesn't fix the problem. Can I please get back the old camera that doesn't jump all over the place like a rabbit on speed?

    I should also clarify that the last time I played this game was 2012, in january, but even so I think the camera is terrible.

    So what your saying is, you haven't played the game for 10 months, but you want the camera, that may or may not have changed, for all you know "Fixed"?

    In a recent patch, they messed with the Camera mechanics, I'd say give it a go again and see if the issue is resolved - I'll note down the "Fix Camera" option and test it when I get a chance, to see if this is an issue with just your client, or an issue for everyone. It may also not do what you think it does, and may in fact be working.

    Yeah, it's completely screwed, but since then I managed to get used to it myself, you can view whole map if you zoom out.

    I know that when I play KAG classic as a knight, the camera doesn't fly all over the place, which is potentially because you have to move the mouse less as a charged attack is a 360 degree attack and there are only two directions to stab, VS aimed charges and stabs in the new version which means more mouse movement, more opportunities for the cursor to hit the "sweet spot" which moves the screen. I also hate playing zoomed in, so maybe zoomed out play causes the camera to move around more than zoomed in, but zoomed in is so close as to be nearly useless. (If you can't see an archer, you're already dead.)

    I also think that maybe a "button+mouse movement" could be an option for moving the camera, like Lshift+moving the mouse moves the camera, maybe make that a tickable choice box in the options. After all, archers do need to see further to attack, but knights really don't. I just need to see far enough to block an arrow flying at me or to spot a nearby threat.
