    I think the problem with arrows when shot very fast is that they dont follow a straight line. This can be easily seen with the static bow machine at the princess mode, you'll notice arrows at some shots are not precise, and some go slitghly below the hipotethical shot line (a line that goes from your bow to your pointer) and tend to go upwards to fall in the end.
    They behave slighly like paper planes when have much pace, so they can follow a parabole above or below your shotline (which can be very creative if we could manage to use it in vanilla) but always tending to it when they got pace. It'd be necessary to have an almost straight shot line for sniping precisely, i tried to hit this archer from distance and it took me a long while because the bullet pace was too high:

    I'd like to have a shot with a single click too, which will be the natural step of this.

    you could use a raycast hit check (or series of shorter raycasts actually, for performance reasons) for the shots instead of an object, would be significantly faster and less likely to desync. Be sure to spawn some particles in a trail to show the shot trajectory though :^)

    theres only 2 mods that add a new class: ardyCTF and the mage mod. I dot think their owners wouldnt help you
