Catapult wood ammo.

Ability to load the catapult with wood or logs.
Yes you can currently load logs into catas but they are pretty much useless.

Logs/Wood ammo should not damage buildings, but should be just as effective as rock ammo at killing players.

 

hmm.. but its kind of hard to get a moving enemy with the catapult, especially with just a little log, isnt it?

 

Hitting an enemy with rocks is not hard.
Hitting an enemy with a log is very hard, I've never been able to do it actually so I dont even know how much damage it does.

I think a log fired by the catapult should split in many pieces, so it's easier to hit players.

could it be possible to make bomb/keg catapult useful again
actually it is possible to throw a keg/bomb but the cata won't light it so you just make your enemy a present.
I admit that you can light the bombs/kegs before putting it in the cata, but then you have the problem that you don't have enough time to throw it without detonating the thing in the air.
The only possible way is that someones charging the cata before you light the keg and put it in the cata in the right time, but finding a teammate who is able to coordinate that right is rare.
Pls either fix this or remove it completly.

 

Or you can catapult someone HOLDING a keg.

 

or holding someone with bombs, rocks,... but this is a little bit different because you need someone holding the keg and your teammate could die before lighting the keg (traps, archer, ...).

 

He could just light it in mid air or just as he lands.

 

We could shoot out corpses and they could do a disease.
