    Pros:

    • Cheap
    • Keg resistant (because its so wide)
    • Fire resistant
    • Easy to maintain or expand

    Cons:
    • Takes up a lot of space
    • Enemies can walk right over it if they get on top
    • 3 knights or 1 builder can chew through the wood pretty fast
    • Ugly (or so I've heard)

    Expanded

Has space for shops (makes the structure less fire resistant)

Has space for a tree farm

Thanks to SuperBlackCat for giving me an idea for this design.

I mainly hate these because they take a lot of time to setup correctly (Note my use of the word "correctly") and then you have some noob run in who's like OMG THERES SO MANY GAPS GOTTA FILL THEM INNNNN!!!

Also the single hole notches in the front are easy for knights to scale to the top. That's a bad structural flaw. Of course, you have to be good enough to exploit gaps when climbing, but it's still not that difficult.

ive found a big problem with this build is bombs being thrown in. they tend to destroy more than 1 wood block because there isnt a flat face. builders also cant get close to the front to repair because of archers/more bombs. builders also chew a hole super fast. sometimes ive seen it work beautifully well though.

  7. *Revives thread* where should I put this building? At the front for defense, near the flag, near the base etc.?

Well as BC said in the OP, "it's expandable", meaning, "keep building" in my opinion. Other than that, I wouldn't see it not fitting anywhere other than huge hills, as it's at a disadvantage to you, as your team will need more time to get to safety. (In doors/behind cover/sheltered.) but it really depends on how you build it in the meantime.

Love the structure, though. Plenty of places to run for all three classes. Only problem I would see is either erosion starting in front of the building, and it would take too much time to build.

  9. I could build a tower on this, right? If this was the foundation.

You'd like to pad it out as much as you can after you set up enough to prevent knight parkouring.
