You're a spaceman. Floating through outer space.

    What do?

Is this meant to be a forum's game?

    Kk. ;3
The spaceman's name is David Attenborough, and his ship got hit by space rock. The crew all got sucked into a vacuum. Drifting through space, the wreck of a ship, most of the rooms and cabins have holes in the walls and have no air in them.

    What do?
    a)
try to reactivate engine and get the rooms that didn't get ripped apart online again.
    b) raid what remains of the canteen.
    c) try to fly around ramming into more space rocks using the remaining power supplies.
    d) fart :migrant:

You were donning your hardsuit to prepare for some external maintenance when the debris struck the ship, and were sucked outside since you happened to be doing that inside the compromised compartment. Luckily you had checked your seals not moments before that. Everyone else wasn't so fortunate you think.

You pulse your suit's built-in maneuvering thrusters, setting you adrift in the direction of the ship. You nab your toolkit (the tether snapped when you were vented) before it can float away, tying it to one of your waist anchors and crawling through the hole the impact tore in the hull. You pull yourself along the silent halls, passing through one darkened compartment after another until you reach the canteen. There's liquid food packets floating around and you stuff a handful of them into a compartment in your suit. You pull one of your arms into your suit and sip the gooey concoction of proteins and lipids. It tastes terrible, but it's filling.

The food sits in the pit of your stomach like a rock. You're beginning to grasp the gravity of the situation you're in. You're dead in space, the rest of the crew is probably killed from exposure to vacuum, and the ship is completely dark. You check your 0^2. You should be fine for a while, but you ought to get your hands on some more before doing anything else.

Didn't originally intend for this to be mega serious drama thing, but eh. :l

Also, I don't understand what this was about..? I wasn't expecting you to make up a plot and then give everyone options. x_x

    Soz.

I vote that David goes to the helm of the ship, but passes the armoury and picks up a standard issue UFSP heat rifle. In case of those space pirates come across our ship. Which would suck. The United Federation of Space Peoples have issued weapons to most government funded vessels, such as ours.

    Inventory:
UFSP compact battle rifle - shoots a stream of small lead pellets that have been super heated to the point of almost melting.
SS neon shotgun - a shotgun that shoots rays of hard light. Pretty self-explanatory.
5 x Plasma grenades. Halo. You know what they are.
All weapons work in outer space.
Also a few spare pressurised oxygen canisters lying about in the armoury.

The armoury wasn't hit by the meteors, so... we don't need to worry about ammo.
Vote for this. Common, we need to get sum action.

W-what?? I don't think you understand how this works. You guys suggest things for the character to do. Example: "Look for oxygen canisters. Try to remember if there are any weapons onboard." Then I tell you what happens. It's like a choose your own adventure book, except the choices are potentially limitless. But only if you play along.

You arrive at the helm. The consoles are dark.

Try to find a access port for the console, and if found, jab it with heat solder. Plug the plasma tool right in. Yup.

You find one of the console's access ports and stab it gently insert the heat solder. Nothing happens. You were hoping for sparks and explosions and arcing electricity, but the power is out, so that's unlikely.

Chip away the metal/plastic frame of the console using vibro saw to reveal the electric lines inside, and check if any are disconnected. Connect any broken lines using plasma thingy at a low setting, by melting the ends and sticking them together.

Then try to jump start entire ship.

    Attempted not to get electrocuted.

You're pretty sure the problem is with the fact that the debris punched through the ship's powerplant, not that you can't find the keys.

((Well you're the one who said we were on a ship in the first place, but it's a merchant trawler, and we're playing as the resident mechanic. Seeing as how the place started out trashed it seemed the most sensible role to give the hero.))

You head to the engine room, and as a matter of fact the door is sealed tight. The console is dark so you can't just command it to open. The layered door is thick and heavily armored in order to protect the crew from the reactor's emissions as well as protect the core from damage that could cause leaks or overloads. You try the vibro saw but it skates across ineffectually across it's surface when you try. All you do is scratch the paint. You'll have to find some other way inside.

You know without having to check that there aren't any kind of explosives here on this ship powerful enough to blow the reactor door. Even if there were, the harm they'd do to the ship's structure would far outweigh the good it brought by gaining you access to the reactor.

    Commit sucide, await respawn.
Jump out of the airlock without the suit on.
Shove plasma solder down own throat.

Ok, are there any other rooms on the ship? Considering that the ship is a merchant trawler, see if there is any interesting stuff in the cargo hold. Maybe we'll find a crate of explosives. I mean maybe we'll find some back up power supplies.
