I was only very briefly in Budapest in Keleti while waiting for other trains. But here's a picture.

This is army camp by the beach I slept in. I was hitch hiking and some Albanian soldier picked me up in his jeep, after a while his friend in an army ambulance joined us. We drove, we ate, drank, he paid and then him and other soldiers bought me more food and drinks and then I slept in this tent by the beach.






This trip was a real adventure.

 

Wow you must have had alot of fun doing it. Anyone try to kidnap you while you were hitchhiking?

 

Not really, no. People were really helpful. I would say I found out that people are a lot better than ordinary person would ever guess.
