    IMHO each thread should have a tag saying what kind of a server it's designed for. For example [DM] if it's for rapid deathmatch, [CTF] if it's for regular servers, etc

    Well moderators are rolling out this weekend, so the according one can do it for every map then. Maybe adding [MAP] instead of a specific mode would be enough allready?
    Anyways, there should definately be some sort of indication that it is a map containing thread. Right now there are not a lot of threads that do not contain maps but they will pop up eventually.
