[1239] The best archers in kag

archers in general will have less kills than knights because knights can kill faster and are forced to either kill or die in most cases in the field. Archers ofc that camp will likely have a higher k/d but less total kills. They normally just plink at enemy knight HP.

I mostly only play TDM these days but imo I'd say that being a good archer requires a good balance of being offensive and defensive. Good archers can go out into the field to bait knights to attack or slow them down, and defensive archers have their purpose especially for knocking away kegs OR even shooting down incoming bomb arrows. Once the field allows for more offensive play archers can move into or near enemy towers to kill players as they open doors and other things

 

Its so much better to see an archer firing some arrows on the wall for knights than a camper on public servers -_- More teamwork, baby ?

I can respect any archer that doesn't rely on hiding behind a door a wall, an archer that can fight in the open, and is able to help team mates is a great one to me

 

Archers that hide behind platforms are the worst. Doors and walls aren't so bad because you can counter them with good timing or playing offensively.

an archer that's going 5-10 could be helping out the team way more than an archer going 10-1

I like to always think, if I am going negative in my K/D, then I am playing Archer effectively. (Unless of course theirs tickets)

I once had a game where I probably was 1-32 or something, archer, won the game since I was providing cover fire, fire/water arrows, arrow ladders..

If there were assists in this game, then archers would be the assist kings, as they mostly just decimate people's health, until someone else steals the kill.

Also, if you are getting killed, you aren't camping, so that is a good thing.

 

Yes but the ability to kill any knight as archer still comes handy.

 

For me the best archer is the archer who know how to use bomb arrow to help teammate or stop ballista and cata
The archer who know when to use water arrow and almost stop eatch key assault or try nicely.
The archer who assassinate builder when knights pushed your team and protected a builder by playing the dead as the price of somes materials he got
The archer who kill oser archer to help builders on they rush agaist a tower.
The archer who made eatch bombjump a failjump.
The archer who take time to stun eatch enemis to help knight on a 1vs1 or 2vs2
The archer who give time to found materials on dead corps for builder in the battlefield
The archer who made ladderarrows for teammates
The archer who stop the flags whis bomb/water arrows and give teammates the possibility to take it back
