Group Bash TONIGHT: 8:30pm GMT



>I have a large working server this time< to host the antics and anyone who wishes to watch. The server will be going up perhaps half an hour before the session start. Also it will start possibly 5-10 minutes after the contestants arrive as they will be given a chance to warm-up on the 1v1 levels beforehand.



The match has been confirmed with all the players. It's ON.

Tournament Proceedures

Players will be given an opportunity to warm-up on the new levels before the match. Once the warmup period is over I will bring both contestants to the middle to explain the rules. During this period the audience is asked to be quiet. After I have briefly gone through the rules with both players (the first two to fight) the audience will be told they can say whatever they want to either contestant for 10 seconds. After this period the audience will be asked to only teamspeak between other audience members. Every contestant will 1v1 each other, totalling 3 mini matches per player; and 6 in summary for the group as a whole. The players who have won the most and lost the least will move through to the next stage of the tournament. The players who are at the bottom are out. Each mini-match is a first to 5 kills situation.

This server will only appear close to the match time. If you join before 7:30pm GMT, feel free to have games until the contestants arrive.


THE RULES

For competitors:

-All items from shops are permitted, however most levels have no traders
-You can use anything you find on the map at your own discretion
-Retreating is allowed, however you are not allowed to run away during entire game (lol, i mean obviously )
-This is an archer contest, therefore do not switch to knight
-You are allowed to resupply your arrows from the spawn point as much as you like
-A kill is not counted if you kill yourself straight after your opponent has been killed - e.g. landing on a spike half a second afterwards. However you are allowed to kill yourself a second or two after if you want to perform some crazy victory celebration.
-Both players in a game are fully allowed to use emoticons and message each other. But if you get an arrow up your ass as a result, it's your own fault

Players will be warned first if they are breaking a rule and if they continue a point may be deducted from their score - however this is unlikely to occur as contestants usually turn up for an honest fight

For audience members:

-Only be spectators from the point on after I say
-No messaging to the players when the game is in session. Use teamspeak only to other spectators.

If an audience member breaks a rule they will be warned or even possibly banned straight away - as we want the matches to run smoothly.

We got ourselves a frickin' audience!

It was a very intense night. Peoples blood was pumping. And It's only now the 2nd place victor is being revealed to the actual players and spectators.

If you wish to see the replay first it will be posted later, but here are the results:

The fighting was highly irratic. Mistakes were made, risks taken. xNaoki_x3 dominated the evening winning all three of his games. Each of the other contestants won 1 and lost 2. Therefore the 2nd placer goes to the fighter with the highest 'kill:death' ratio...
