Server: 1v1 archer (server caught on video in) Time: 8:00 PM EST - 9:10 PM EST (Time caught in the act) Evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJms6bPmHH8&feature=youtu.be A lot in the beginning, towards the point I open the tab menu (bottom left you can see him warp just a bit but not a full glimpse yet) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWZgeqhFXFI&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60GTw2PK1yU&feature=youtu.be http://youtu.be/eaE37zybbbc Reason: speed hacks Comments: Though this is not an official server, we have seen him several times speed hacking on various official servers and quite possibly clan wars too. Has admitted to having a toolbar to toggle (No chat logs to confirm this) @Yagger @RampageX @startselect3 @makmoud98 @weman713 @kittycity @Pasguido @neil58 @t3rnary @super_gaming_geek @kedram @NDFighter42 @noahsilva355
yes, i have indeed seen some very strange movements from him, generally he puts it on 1% faster so that noone really notices, however if you have played this game long enough you can notice little inconsistancies here and there. we were on a server where he also had 0-33 ping as well as everyone else.
I've asked guards' and other admins' opinions and we couldn't agree on this one. It's not obvious enough in the videos but there's something sketchy about it. Keep an eye on him, please.
Yeah even after being accused of hacking by more than ten other (well know) kag members he still continued to hack after he was even told he was being recorded and was gonna get reported. Spoiler
Though I respect your opinion I have to say I've known this player well and I have befriended him before but, a well known player having already been good at the game is especially hard to recognize with any kind of hack because you're so used to them playing well, likely the reason your admins and guards can not agree. If we get more evidence it's only going to be this kind here, not to mention that the player is likely to see this thread. The admins that can vouch for this are @t3rnary and @Yagger Thankyou for your time and we will try to gather more evidence regarding this player.
Last video is private. The only piece of evidence I saw that seemed really suspicious to me was a video of him bouncing noticeably faster on a vertical trampoline, but that doesn't seem to be here. Where did that one go?
The unfortunate thing is we were really close to getting chat logs of bloody admitting to using cheat engine, but he unfriended t3rnary before we could get to them, if that happens steam just removes all of the messages :/
I can understand why you're reluctant to ban someone, but your reluctance here is particularly frustrating. Maybe this anecdote will be enough to push you over the edge. Previously being in the same clan, Bloody was on my friends list in Steam, and we talked and played KAG together fairly often. One day while talking to him in Steam, he mentioned CheatEngine, and admitted to me that he has hacked before and still hacks "only with friends." He mentioned how he would use low increases in speed so that he would not be reported or banned but he would still have an advantage. I tried to convince him to uninstall CheatEngine, to which he replied, "There, I removed it from my taskbar." He had CheatEngine pinned on his taskbar. Wow. So he used it a lot and even pinned it to his taskbar for easy access. Disgusting. About a week or so later, I brought it up again and he denied ever speedhacking or using CheatEngine, even after admitting it to me. Again, wow. He then became incredibly mad at me for even suggesting that he speedhacks, and said something along the lines of "HOW FUCKING DARE YOU. FUCK YOU." and then blocked me on Steam. This guy is scum, Furai, don't be reluctant to ban him.
Notice how in this video, TheBloodyWolf bounces significantly faster on the trampolines, and he just seems to be moving a bit faster. Also, no matter how hard I try to in solo sandbox, I cannot come close to recreating the speed of the trampoline jumps. In this video, his speed just doesn't seem right, especially when he attacks sunstorm. Also, in another moment I was not able to capture (I currently don't have the hard drive space to just leave fraps running), He appeared to move very quickly in the air away from me. It wasn't a teleport, It was much more similar to rubber-banding that bots do in racing games all the time. This really is the best metaphor for his hacking, he isn't obvious about it, but if you look closely and really pay attention, it's there. Also, I would like to point out that I had actually forgotten that this thread had even existed until I realized something was off. Also, @Chukka was there as well.
Can we please get a response or update on this? It is beyond frustrating that any time I want to play TDM and Bloody is there he has an advantage. He ruins the game for long-time players and this issue needs to be addressed. You can delete this message, but just give us an update because he's really pissing me off.
Here's a video I recorded last night: As you can see, when he's running away from the two knights who are slashing right behind him, he escapes unscathed. This wouldn't happen if he was going normal speed, as they were too close and the slashes would have reached him. He's also still clipping around as he is in everyone single other one of these videos. He always has a constant ping, good connection, so why is he clipping? I've never seen anyone else with a good connection clip like that. Another thing I'd like to draw attention to is the trampolines once again. When he bounces on the trampoline from the ground, he is able to go much higher than is possible in sandbox testing that @Auburn and recently I have tested. It seems in areas where he's accelerating during a short period (start of trampoline bounce, slashing) he's able to go further than any other player. That's why he's able to slash me when I'm fighting him and backpedal, because he covers more ground than a normal knight that have hundreds and hundreds of hours playing against. I'll keep watching, but I'm not sure we'll ever find anything "blatant" as the speedhack he uses must be set to a very minimal value (say 3-8% maybe?). But any experienced player can tell he's doing something and at high level of play he has a huge advantage. Thanks for taking your time to review all of this, I doubt it's fun whatsoever.
So I left fraps running for about 10 minutes while in the same server the other day. If you go to about 6:40 you'll see him give chase to an archer. After he kills the archer, he keeps falling, and doesn't use his shield to break his fall at all. He fell 14 blocks, and making that same jump on the map, I always get stunned after falling that height. According to this thread He should be getting stunned when falling from this height. At about 7:20 he definitely appears to be moving faster than his fellow knights, and at 9:15 there's another fall damage inconsistency where he falls ~24 blocks slashing down on to a trampoline without even flinching.
Check 12:35. Notice in particular how fast he is moving when he goes towards the arrow switch, I really do think he still has some kind of semi-sophisticated speed hack.
More evidence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vdt8n1kZrSM As you can see from this, he is facing his shield down and going very fast across the ground. This is not a shield surfing as the shield is simply facing the ground and is not actually under him. If you go in game yourself and try to do what he did, you will see you will go much much slower then how he is in the video.
I went onto the US server because there was nobody on AUS and TheBloddyWolf was on, I started to record and mid battle after I died he went extremely fast and hit the ground from mid air. At first I thought he teleported but then after re-watching it I noticed it was just a great boost of speed. Also this was on the US server, where he had 66 ping. (Don't mind the background sound, was watching youtube at the time) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tomdl5q5Ho&feature=youtu.be If you watch from 0:07-0:09 you will see what I mean about how he got a great deal of speed from nothing.
