SEMI-FINALS RULE CHANGE

The semis and final are special

It is best of 3 matches (e.g. first to 2 matches wins)

The first 2 matches are first to 11 kills

• If each player wins 1, the last match is Sudden Death. In this match it is back to the old group-stage first to 5 kills - and ALL rounds will be played on just 1 single map.

These rules apply to the semi-finals and the final match.

 

Can't wait to see the semi-final matchup.

Results & Commentary

The start was sensational. Naoki hammered Elowan with a boulder. This was very desirable to see so early as many would put marginally elowan as the favourite. Seeing a big hunk of rock smashed in his face in the first round, must have been a confidence builder for nao.

After a little scrapping, the score went to 3:2 to elowan. And the scrapping was of most high quality indeed. However afterwards, the unstoppable one took a big charge forwards, winning the next 4 points - 7:2.

Naoki, answering back in his clan-mates face won the next 3 out of 4 rounds. The score came to 8:5 with elowan still in the lead, but much less of a safety margin.

Did Elowan close the deal? Or did Naoki take some more chunks out of him? The final score was..

• 11:5 to elowan

5 points may not seem like much. But nobody has even really given Elo a fleshwound yet. At this stage, he's now faced his first serious challenge. Weldone Naoki for giving him a run for his money. You made him dance around like a ferret in a thorn-bush.

Final moment

These two guys are close. It seemed through some kind of psychic messaging they both wanted the first match point to be a "no arrow zone", whereby the winner would out-stomp his opponent.

Naoki lost this little contest, after elowan pulled off a pretty nifty double-stomp thing of his.





Ahhhhh #AG battle is done..

That made me rather laugh at when you wrote "wtf" in the chat @daskew87

Because when I saw this transition, I immediately understood what they tried to do.

Know first that Naoki and Elowan are always talking on skype :D

From that Elowan saw he missed just one kill to finish the game, he tried to show us a "show" as a "killcam" on call of duty to give an example haha ;D

I have heard Verz is hard to get hold of at the moment. He is apparently going to leave KAG very soon. I want to make an appeal to everyone watching this thread, that if you can get a hold of verz, tell him to stay on to fight this match. This may be probably the biggest encounter in the whole tournament and could go down as a legend.
