I believe what you really should fix, is proportions of your character. Rely on size of head. Take that size and go lower. length from neck to very bottom of torso must be equal to size of 3 heads placed on each other. Heigh of fully developed human body is equal to heigh of it's own 8 heads placed on each other, while it can be 1½, 2 or 2½ heads wide. (Childs body fits 5 heads. Pre-teen fits 6-7 heads. It's also pretty fun, playing with these proportions. For example by making character 8½ heads high and 2½ heads wide, you make it look heroic and strong, while 7½ heads high and 1½ heads wide character looks weak)
Google human anatomy, there are tons of lessons that will teach you much better, than i can explain. ::):

I've learned the 8-head height etc., but that applies more to your "ideal" model human. Your average woman is going to be around 6.5 - 7 heads. That said, I normally do follow the ideal human model, and I would've gone back and changed the overall proportions, but I sorta felt invested in what I drew after I got the head/torso down, lol. If only I could undo/redo things like with a computer.

Thanks for the feedback. Any particular resources that you find helpful in learning general proportions (other than Google)? My current plan in learning the human body is to learn the various parts from the head down, since I've basically only learned the head so far. But I realize that I'll need overall guidelines to keep things properly sized/placed.

A drawing I work on recently.
It's based on a sculpture of Nike.

That's so cool. I wanna learn how to paint both digitally and traditionally, right now I just want to get one style down.
I also sketched this thing with brushes I just downloaded for CSP

The ones I used for coloring feel more like markers than watercolor. I like it, I might be using it more for sketches though.

Depending on timezones and luck, we hit up to 30 players online on some days.
