Forum Groups purge

Just a fyi that any inactive groups will be deleted on Sunday. Thanks.

 

Many of them, yes.

 

At this stage, groups that are clearly sitting around not being used will be deleted. So anything that hasn't been touched in the last few months, come Sunday... gone.

And, no, "we're storing valuable information" is not an excuse. There are other ways (e.g. OP for a thread, or convo, about a clan or server) that would more effectively do that. Groups are for collaborative work on projects, etc. that have multiple facets and so need something more flexible than a single thread.

Well, I guess that means I'll be nuking quite a few groups this evening.

Also, shush, no one else but us speaks Latin anyway. If you're going to complain about Dadaism, you might as well do it in a common tongue, like Klingon or Patsey.
