there is often very offensive language in the names of players on kag. I very much appreciate the language filter and put it to use in the chat, as some of the most vulgar pottymouths empty there diapers all over it. it doesnt entirely wipe all the diaper juice off, but its better then nothing. But there is nothing i can do about the names. I am a person that doesnt use the pleb vulgarities in my daily speech, and here i am playing this game that is forcing me to constantly say them in my head every time i destroy some character . So, my suggestions are to either not allow swear words in the names entirely, or apply the language filter to the names as well. Also , i would prefer to be able to disable the chat from my view entirely. per the diaper analogy, the diaper is the language filter, but as diapers go they can only hold so much. And this language filter diaper often explodes all over the place, and as anyone knows who has had a baby, this diaper juice gets out and now is on my pants and shirt. Now im tainted, and my nice clean thoughts are filthed. if there could be a option to minimize the chat, that would be great .

I feel like this should've been implemented when the filter was made. Along with filtering out a couple more words, maybe even having a list of the filtered words and being able to select what ones get filtered.

I can make the swear filter look up for words directly from a configuration file, then the user would be able to filter some words/expressions in particular.
It should also be fairly easily to filter out names automatically. All the features are already exposed to scripts. I'll try to do that when I have some time.

Yes, I believe I can see the problem here.
