refraining from using certain words and phrases regardless of meaning or context isn't a very good idea, as humans we use words to convey meaning and emotion to stop people from being able to say certain words will ultimately just make understanding meaning harder, and people will eventually just make up new words to replace the old ones that they aren't allowed to say, becasue in the end meaning and emotion must be understood somehow, also avoiding words and phrases will only lead to a social stigmatization of said words, it's the stigma that gives words most of there power to "hurt" and "offend" without it they would just be any other letters on the paper

Not to date, no. It would be nice to think this was because our resident edgelords have turned over a new leaf, but cynicism & history suggests they're just biding their time.

That said, I'm not particularly concerned. We're looking to focus community management efforts on retaining new people and, hopefully, encouraging them to join us here/on discord. Old trolls will need to share the space or find a new home on the 'webs.

I'm confident things aren't going as terribly as some detractors/grumblers would have us believe. ::):
