Windows Help my account is not properly activated

    Hello! last week a friend recommended me this game and today i tried to register (standalone client) and it says that my account is not properly activated and that i need to use steam, i really dont want to use steam to play, is there any other option to play or to solve this issue?

    The game is free only on Steam unfortunately for various reasons. If, as a f2p player, you want to play without Steam you must play the game through Steam once, which "unlocks" your account
    Upon launching KAG for the first time, choose to link with an existing account and log-in with this Bird90 account. You can then play without Steam.
