[BoW] Experimental Range

    [BoW] Experimental Range is a server hosted from time to time on my local machine. It provides 16 slots and is meant to introduce non-standard game modes (or sometimes to provide locked place for training for BoW clan).

    In this topic I would like to let you know when a new mode/map is introduced.

    Today server is renamed to [BoW] Climbing Range and provides climbing training mode. Please visit if you want to train your climbing skills a bit!

    Is this [BoW] only, or would I be able to get on? It has a password, so just curious. Your maps for training look really fun, if you need more for training I have a few, made by Rayne and mAz-, they can comment more :)

    When it is passworded it means that BoW are training / or I want to train with my friends. When open, feel free to come. Today it was open for few hours on climbing mode, then I tested archer training + bomb jump training mode. I guess I can open it for now, but today it will be 1-3 hours from now, not more.

    It won't be for some time, I guess. We had some financial problem and servers gone down. Next time (if ever happens) we'll probably try to purchase server in Europe.

    Not sure how their euro servers are, but starting with just a month on HGS is very cheap (10 slot is all you'd need right?) $4.80.
    Just to let you know. :)

    P.S. Any intention on sharing the maps you guys make for training? I've turned my coop server exactly into this sort of thing, training, recently for friends and such and love these sorts of maps.

    I'll think about that. Both maps (climbing and archer+bombjump training) are made by me today :)

    They are good maps, very enjoyable. Made it to the top on the knight one, was fun cause the roofs make some obstacles that force you to bombjump a certain way. The infinite bomb has lead to a few people simply blowing the bottom of red's tent though sadly. I had the same problem until I passworded and simply posted the password on the forums.

    If you're concerned about then changing the password when you setup your thing, there is an RCON command to change server name that you can use when it's training for you guys instead.
