    Geti, that didn't help our problem at all. I am running Windows XP SP3. The OP is running Windows7. Is there any word on a possible fix? I have already tried re-installing with no success.

    As I don't know what's causing this specific problem, I cant work on fixing it yet. We're looking into it as it's distressing that it's affecting some people but not others, but it's proving hard to track down.

    The crash reporter opens when the game crashes in general. This topic is about the launcher crashing upon start up.

    Ight, Thanks Geti. It diffidently has something to do with the launcher itself, but I don't know if the launcher and game are 2 separate entities.

    Sorry, but that's not what this topic is about. This topic is concerning the crash AT STARTUP. Your crash is completely unrelated.

    When you go to RDM just crash happens, that's why engine stops working. This particular crash happens just on startup.
    Anyway, you are adorable.

    No, that's not what you have because if you're joining RDM the engine has already started -> you're not crashing at startup -> you're having a different issue. There are a few crash bugs related to RDM, some known, some unknown. We'll root them all out eventually, for now don't stress about it and just enjoy the game.

    Cheers for the info Classik, the launcher and game are technically different beasts so I'll have a look into places where something specific to your system and anyone-else-having-the-issue's could go wrong.

    Yes sadly, you do. The changes that fixed one of the crashes are contingent on some gameplay related crashes. You'll have to hold out til christmas I'm afraid.

    You have a different problem (these problems are specifically mac build related) and we think we've fixed that one. Check the release this christmas, if not report the bug on bugs.kag2d.com
